Nonsmoking room had obviously been used by a heavy smoker and AC didn't work. Many homeless people on the streets surrounding the motel. Some (4 or 5) were sitting on the curb outside the side entrace.

Dissapointed Stay

I was in Albuquerque to attend a Speed Cubing competition the next day in Rio Rancho. The hotel overall is pleasant and clean, but two things that bothered ME (others might not care) were: the counter-girl vaping right on the entrance as guests were walking in, and the pot heads hanging out in the parking lot smoking weed. They were not bothering anyone, mind you, but I think they should have been asked to leave - but again: that is just me.

Scroungy. Carpets nasty and dirty everywhere. Stains and smells throughout the facility, hallways and rooms. Was once a nic place but now worn and neglected. My king bed was so mushy and worn out I felt like I'd slept on a torture rack. Breakfast was junk and minimal. I'd stay here only if desperate and couldn't afford a decent place.

Bad incense smell through entire hotel and my room. Broken refrigerator in my room not replaced or removed after reporting it to 2 front desk staff. Hairdryer shut off after 10 seconds from overheating. Entire room carpet disgusting, filthy, and stained beyond comprehension. Paper thin walls so thin I heard the guy in the room next to me snoring every night!! No housekeeping showed on 2 out of 6 days. And a dead black spider behind my entry door, upon arrival, that was there for 3 DAYS UNTIL I showed housekeeping myself who then vacuumed it up. They made me pay in full at check in??

Filthiest room ever. Bad smell throughout entire hotel. Broken refrigerator & hairdryer. Carpet stained entirely!

Stay somewhere else. No breakfast but old tasteless waffle mix. Tasteless old apples some cold cereal but did not trust the milk. Some off the shelf granola bars. Could get a breakfast roll for additional charge. Twice the cost of a year ago.

Our ground floor room featured a broken security door lock with the smoke detector ripped out of the ceiling. We secured the door shut using the coffee table - which was already broken. After reading trip advisor reviews I was grateful that I brought our own sheets and pillow cases. We heard voices outside our room all night. When we left for the airport at 4:30 am the parking lot exits were blocked with FIVE police cars. Dangerous and disgusting. This hotel should not be listed on TripAdvisor - or anywhere.

Disgusting and Dangerous

The neighborhood has homeless wandering around.  The staff told me to park in front of the building then later told me to move my car.  The elevator does not work so had to carry luggage upstairs.  I was promised a groundfloor room that would be quiet but did not get one.  Noisy inside and out of building.  No coffee once it was empty - not remade for guests leaving after 8 am.  No cold bottled water available.  However, room was clean and AC worked.

Scary place to stay.

Not clean, NO ICE, NO breakfast to speak of - just a breakfast bar and 'coffee'. Air condition air filter could use cleaning. So would the walls near light switches and door handles - maybe elsewhere. We didn't trust the sheets and cover and brought ours in from the car (we were on a long driving trip).

Stay elsewhere

Broken elevator. Old ripped up shower curtain that wouldn't stay closed. Only offered a granola bar for breakfast. Very run down and in desperate need of upgrades and repairs. Only 1 outlet of a 2 outlet plug worked in the room.

Nasty and broke down

This hotel is in desperate need of upgrades and repairs. The carpets are gross. The mini fridge had paper stuffed in the door frame. The air in the bedroom, we had the 3 queen beds, and one was in a separate bedroom, was so loud we had to turn it off. Thank goodness there was another air conditioning unit in the main part of the room. 

That being said. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were very clean and fresh smelling. The shower was great also. 

Yes, there were homeless people around, but they were not bothering us and they were not even on the hotel property. 

Front desk has many camera views of the area and parking lot, so I was not concerned about anything happening to our vehicle.

I would not recommend this place for longer than a night or two until they do some upgrades. 

The lady at the front desk very late at night was very nice.

The website says they have a breakfast, but they do not. And the elevator does not work.

The price was good also.
