The management has changed in he last month or two. It was super clean, bed comfy, everyone friendly. Management working hard to make positive changes. Ignore reviews prior to Oct 2023. Give this place a try. I will be staying there again. 

Give it a try....super clean

This Super 8 needs some TLC. It has been rode hard and put away wet. It is clean and kept up but needs attention by Super 8. The front desk staff was just fine,check- in was quick and efficient. The new staff was amazing, did bring me clean towels as soon as I asked for them and housekeepers were willing to come freshen up the room when asked and for sure the cleanliness of the place was up to standards. 

Family adventure

I was very pleased with the room. The outside of the property was a little bit messy. And was not really any breakfast or coffee available in the morning.

Night stay

Visiting for the Algona Abate Freedom bike rally, spent two nights at this motel and the staff was super nice and accommodating, definitely would stay here again, it was the most responsible priced motel in the area

This Super 8 needs some TLC.  It has been rode hard and put away wet.  It is clean and kept up but needs attention by Super 8. The front desk staff was fine, check in was quick and efficient. My room 202 was a bit cluttered with furniture, the TV remote was iffy, after 3 minutes of running the tub water, it was only lukewarm. The bath tub  temperature control valve was busted. I could spin it 360 degrees. Cold to Lukewarm and back again.  No morning shower for me.  I heard hallway noises during my stay.  There were 3 or 4 Appliances plugged into 1/2 of 1 socket. Made me check for the smoke detector. The ice machine was busted, the pop machine read sold out of everything. I reiterate the room was clean and the check in staff was friendly. If your frugal this place will do.

Friendly Staff

It was ok, but not the best Super 8 by far.  The room had dirty q-tips on the floor as we entered the open door.  The door also did not close and latch by itself, no big deal.  There wasn't enough towels but a nice young man remedied that post haste.  The kids working there were kind as all heck.  The building and rooms are in need of simple maintenance is all. 

An ok stay

Tired hotel. Budget friendly. Clean linens, but old, well used and needing replacement. No ice machine (broke). No “light” breakfast. Most outlets not functioning. Lights out in room. No cover on exhaust fan. (Nasty looking). Floors and carpet not the cleanest. But, for the location I needed and the price, it fir the bill.

OK for the budget conscious.

A hot room because the air conditioner didn't work, and our other room had only cold water   Balance, I guess.  No breakfast.   No coffee.   TV remote was clunky.   Misc hairs in one of our rooms.   The lobby smelled like sticking your head in a pumpkin spice candle.

This was the worst place I have ever seen. After my friend checked in we went to our room. The door was open, red flag... we walked in the floors were filthy, cheese left in fridge which was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting,  sheets and bedding had stains all over them, windows full of cobwebs and mold. My friend called the front desk and she assured she personally washes all bedding and personally cleaned the room. I clean for a living and honey I would fire you. We left and went and stayed elsewhere no way were we sleeping there. I took videos but it won't let me load.

Disgusting

I was a bit confused by the state of the room.  The walls and ceiling all were freshly painted and looked great.  
The carpet in the room had obvious water damage, possibly more than once.  Gum and cigarette burns on carpet too.
Bed skirt was torn,  sheets had stains and black "stuff" (never could determine if it was lint or ??)
No breakfast or coffee in the lobby - 
On the positive side- the staff was helpful when we called them- they were never at the front desk.
