Alva

Was making a visit to my hometown.  Having been away for a significant amount of time, the choice of hotels was impressive. Chose Holiday Inn> Check in was very easy and the personnel were friendly and very helpful.  The room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was exceptional and a good variety of choices for breakfast. If we ever trave to or thru Alva again will be sure to stay with Holiday Inn - Alva.

Highly recommend

Staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean is always my preferred place to stay. Breakfast served is also pretty good and they offer several additional options to choose from. Super close to NWOSU! Stayed there when dropping off my kid at college and any other times we visited it is our go to! Rooms are also very clean.

Our go to hotel when visiting Alva.

The cleaning and maintenance crew for this hotel are doing an excellent job! Our room and all the common areas are sparkling. 
Our double queen room on the top level was quiet and very comfortable. I liked the room layout with separate niche for microwave and refrigerator. 
If I return to Alva, I will stay at this property again.

Dunes Trip

We always stay here when we come to Alva to visit family. The property is a pretty standard layout, breakfast and physical amenities for HI Exp, but that’s where the similarities end. The staff, from owner to housekeeper and all in between, is helpful, friendly, and truly interested in making a stay as good as it can be. We’ve stayed here enough that they recognize us by sight, but even on our first trip, we were made to feel welcomed. With oil patch traffic, it would be easy to let it get dirty, but it’s always clean as a button. 
We have stayed in hotels of all quality and price points. This is consistently an excellent value, for all the reasons above and more. It’s a pleasure patronizing businesses where the pride shows in the product. 

Great Staff and Property

In Alva for a soccer game and stayed over night at the H.I. It was excellent. Fast and courteous check in. Comfortable room with a good TV and excellent shower. Nice bed. The breakfast was better than most hotel meals. Two style eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits with gravy and all the sweets and add ons you expect. Really nice hotel.



Excellent Stay

Best of the hotel options in Alva.  And in a good location for visiting the Great Salt Plains State Park.  While there aren't a lot of great food options in the area, their is a walmart very close to pick up some food or snacks and they serve a nice holiday inn breakfast in the mornings.  Will definitely stay here again when I return.

Best of the hotel options in Alva

I got upgraded to a suite with a seating area/couch. The room was very quiet and I was so happy the AC didn't sound like a semi idling in my room. The Wi-Fi was very good too and I didn't get kicked off when my I-pad fell asleep which happens at many other hotel chains. The breakfast area was spacious and had the normal IHG eats. Very comfortable room. I've been traveling for three weeks straight and this was the best of all the IHG and Hilton properties I've stayed in.

We chose this hotel because we have had good experiences with Holiday Inn Express. The common areas were very clean and well kept. The staff were very attentive and if we had a request they stayed on it until it was done. The rooms were comfortable and the house cleaning staff were very professional. My only problem (and it was minor) is that they have signs for vending machines that did not exist. We went next door to Walmart to take care of that. I would recommend them to my friends and family and would stay here again.

We were taking our daughter to start college at NWOSU and stayed a couple nights.

Certainly the best in Alva, and in a handy location. I liked the bill under my door in the morning, which is > Marriott.
