When I first walked in I noticed an odor similar to  cat spray... Perhaps the toilet area wasn't properly cleaned.  When i entered the bathrooms I  immediately noticed buildup on the faucets of the sink and tub. I've never had these issues elsewhere. And i noticed a brown spot on the bath towel they had left on the tub. I think it may be a burn. Then under the sink on the floor I noticed 3 dead bugs.  So, i pulled out my camera.  I was hungry and the microwave appeared clean at first glance but i decided because of the other shortcomings I might check the top of the inside of the microwave.  Well, it was filthy.  So, my review is honest.  I took photos.  It's not a clean place.  It was quiet. The staff was very nice.

I read the reviews and expected clean, I was disappointed

After being let down by a motel down the road, The owners at the Ranger Inn bent over backwards for us and our 10 month old who was sick. 
They loaned a vaporiser so she could sleep better, put the heating on in the room before we arrived so it wasn’t cold and offered any assistance we needed, should we need it, through the night.
Little family run businesses like this are what make America great, they are the backbone of the country. 
If you want good honest, value for money accommodation with a real caring touch, look no further.

Four star service.

Really nice people running it, room seemed clean (stayed in the room with 3 beds), husband got ate up with bed bug bites. Grandbaby and I stayed in one bed and hubby stayed in the other. found a bug crawling in the bed I slept in. Next evening when we got home my husband found bites all over his arms and legs!

Older facility, BUT super clean, great staff, most comfortable bed easily offsets no in room coffee. There is coffee in  the office. Non smoking rooms. More like a suite than just a room for the night.
All the appliances worked, extra large room, desk to set up mini office, wonderful little town.

More than I expected!

Don't judge a book by it's cover!  Yes, from the road it looks like an older run down motel, but it's so much more!  The rooms are very clean, the staff was amazing and the beds are super comfy!  I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

A little older and outdated, but VERY nice!

The bed and linens were awesome. Old motel that is completely redone. Not fancy but just needed a quick stopover and the price was very appealing. Microwave and fridge, all very clean Met our expectations and comfort requirements!


Old but very comfortable 

I needed a room quick and cheap.  I located the Ranger Inn online and made a reservation for a handicap room as I cannot do stairs.  Upon a very late arrival, I found a willing and helpful desk clerk.  She kindly led me to my room and made sure everything was in apple pie order.  The property has seen better days, and the new and shiny has worn off the room.  HOWEVER, the room was clean and large, offered a comfortable desk chair, a good TV, and the most comfortable motel bed I've ever slept in!  I couldn't believe it. To top it off, the cost was truly minimal.  I was gone early in the morning, so truly this was simply a place to sleep for the night, and sleep well I did!

It's Oklahoma and their are bugs. Saw a few crawl around the room.  The room was clean towels sheet fresh refridge and microwave and tv in room.  It's Cheap. You can park in front of room no frills no breakfast .

My husband and I stayed 3 nites in May. What a great asset Teresa is to this business. We had 2 concerns and she quickly took care of them. The king bed was the most comfortable we've slept in a long time. Well worth the money and again, Teresa was great to us treating us like family.

I will be glad to keep coming back to the Ranger Inn! Management was so nice and professional, my room was very clean, I will be back on my next trip to Alva! What a great little tucked away gem! This was my 4th stay at the Ranger Inn... never disappointed!
