I love it here. The staff is amazing. I oversleep sometimes and they let us check out late. They tend to our every need. I wish I could afford weekly. The cleaning maids are sweet. And very nice. Great job!

Homeless and rent daily

it is a really nice place especially for the price. the room was clean and smelled very nice also. would have liked to have more towels and toiletries but we brought our own so no big deal.the guy at the front desk was very kind and helpful. very quiet place. would 100% book again.

It was pleasure visiting in alvin tx and very good service of front desk clerk  they are very friendly excellent excellent room clean nice feel like home to home very attractive decor room style selection I enjoyed and recommend stay again in this hotel

Excellent hotel

Stayed on 1/5/19 thru 1/6/19 at the Scottish Inn in Alvin, TX.  The carpet had stains in all areas of the room.  There was no coffee maker in the room even though they advertise there is one in every room.  The furniture was dusty like it had not been dusted off or cleaned.  I will never stay in that hotel ever again.

Filthy With Roaches, Human Fecies On Walls, Trash In Trash Cans, Dirty Linen, Filthy Bedding. No Customer Service. Haven't Refund My Money Back To My Debit Card Yet, Made Me Leave With My Child With Nowhere To Go & No Funds To Get Another Room Somewhere Else. I Drove Over Two Hours To Stay With Y'all & Charged Me More Than What I Was Qouted. Now I'm Sleeping In my Car With My Chid

Very Poor Service, Very Rude, Room Was Horrible. Filthy

I had read several reviews before booking at this hotel.  This was our very fist time staying at a Scottish Inn and we were disappointed.  The staff was very friendly both at check in and at check out. The man gave us ice cold bottled water along with our key which was a nice thing to do and very welcome after our long trip.   The man who checked us out thanked us for staying and said "come again"  The hotel offers breakfast from 6 to 9 but we had such a toss and turn night that we were not able to get ready in time to rate the food portion.  As to the toss and turn, the bed was not comfortable by any stretch of the imagination.  The "couch" was old and worn and it was like sitting on plywood with a thin sheet thrown over it.  The carpet was very dirty and when my husband was getting in the shower, he found a used washcloth draped over the shower curtain rod.    The entire room (and I am sure the others are just like it) needs to be updated.  Tiles are falling off the walls as well.  It was posted outside the door as a handicap room, but there were NO assist bars anywhere in the bathroom.    The washer and dryer for guest use is outside on by the stairs.  No place to sit so you either leave your laundry unattended or sit on dirty stairs.  Parking spaces are very tight and that makes it hard to get your luggage out.  Over all, we give the front desk staff 5 stars but the room and cleaning staff and the rest are all well below par.  We will not stay here again unless we read reviews from others that improvements have been made.

Expect the worst, hope for the best

The inside doors were filthy, furniture looked beaten up, mirror was dirty, it needed dusting, two really old velvet chairs   From previous reviews we expected a nice clean room. The price was way too much. It is also located in an out of the way location. Seemed to be a place where workers often stayed as a washer/dryer was on the sidewalk.

we stayed here on a weekend and the rooms are clean and the place is quite though it is next to hwy and we felt very safe with my family . They have also got good continental breakfast and its great place to stay for an affordable price. I strongly recommend this place
