The gentleman and young lady at registration are fabulous. They are happy to help you have a wonderful stay.

The cabins roomy, clean and light.  We really enjoyed the gas fireplace.  The internet is spotty but that seems to the the case thru the area.  TV has about 5 channels.  Plenty of hot water.  The cabin had a nice small table with 2 chairs, a small (2 seat) coach, microwave, frig, and place to hang clothes. 

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. I would stay again next time I at Lake Quinalt.

Cosy cabin with a lake outside your door.

WAY overpriced! This stay cost as much as my last two combined.

The room did have a fireplace and jacuzzi (we didn’t use either), and a fridge and microwave. A very nice view of the lake.

Poor wifi. The bed spreads were from the 80s and some of the exterior was worn in spots. 

Not sure why I picked this place from online but I’m guessing I didn’t see many options in the area.

Very expensive

Old but clean and comfortable hotel. Beautiful lake view. Beautiful and peaceful place. Very welcoming staff. Coffee available at the reception and in the cabin.

It's a very nice place.

We had cabin #9. Great view of the lake. Nice bathroom. Slept well. Slow to poor to dropping-out-constantly wifi. Wifi-calling phone connection doesn’t work if wifi doesn’t work. TV was snowy-poor picture when we first turned it on so we didn’t do that again. Kitchen quite adequate for our needs, although paper towels and hot pads are needed. Not enough electrical outlets. 

Needs work

We stayed only one night after a backpacking trip in Quinault Rainforest. The beds were comfortable. The bedding was clean and soft. We didn’t use the tubs because the plastic fittings looked aged. The showers were clean and had good water pressure. Management was great. Views of the lake were fabulous.  The food at Salmon House was excellent.

This stay could have been disappointing  for us, but it all turned out great because of a great manager and communication. We booked this lodge because of the great lakefront location, great looking views and location to a hike we wanted to do. When we arrived we found out that our room was not on the lake side of the street, but across the street over the laundromat and public showers, which are in use until 8 each night.  We were really surprised to say the least, but if we had really dug into the website and looked at the room diagrams, we would have learned this.  The manager was really great, helped us to move to another room and was really understanding.  We stayed in a cabin on the lake side that was outstanding. restaurant was onsite, but another local eatery was just 5 minutes away and it was close to the trails we planned to hike. While I will say they could do a better job of letting folks know the "efficiency apartment" is over the laundry on the main road, in the end it was fantastic. just make sure you know what you are booking.

Great location, fantastic manager who worked with us

We stayed one night at the Rain Forest Resort Village and had a really nice stay.  Staff were friendly at check in and the room was nice.  But the best part was the front porch to watch the gorgeous sunset over Lake Quinault.  The Salmon House restaurant is right across the street, about the only dining option in the area.  There are also a bunch of trails into the national forest that can be accessed from the hotel.  We spent the next day hiking in the rain forest.  Overall, it was a really great stay and I would love to visit again and stay for a few days.

Beautiful Lake Quinault

Great location with lake views! Room was outdated and tired with shag carpet, linoleum, less than optimal bedding. Little shop on the premise was convenient and the staff was friendly and kind.  There’s also a cool campground next to the hotel.

Great location but tired room.

We recently stayed at the Rain Forest Resort.  Our room was on the second floor of the lodge.  It was dated, but very clean with a balcony which we enjoyed.  

The food across the street was fabulous - but not open for seating because of staffing issues.  We did, however, order take-out which was fine with us.

We drove the north/south road - dirt at times.  We took a short hike to the world's largest spruce tree.  Otherwise, we just relaxed in the evenings and explored the park during the day.

Beautiful View of the lake

What a delightful place to stay on a beautiful, peaceful lake.  The lodging was adequate, very clean and comfortable.  Furnishings are from another decade but all in working order.  The staff, with pooch helper, was friendly and helpful.  What a pleasant delight.  Felt like family.  Short walk to the largest spruce tree and short drive to the Merriman Falls.  Highly recommend.
