Great clean rooms, with a big selection for breakfast. we did a stop over between a two day drive and needed somewhere  clean. we drove through Butte and everything that was cheap looked sketchy! so we kept driving and did the 10 minute detour to Anaconda. So glad we did, it's a tiny cute little town that is clean and pretty. this motel for us was $100 for two queen beds( maybe they were double I don't know) . They were accommodating when we asked for a room with a parking area for our trailer and bikes right in front of our door. Rooms were clean, and hot water and pressure great for shower. There is an Italian restaurant across the street we got take out for dinner at 9pm just as they were closing and it was delicious. In the morning at 530am there's a little dining area with tons for the kids. I am GF and no lactose and there were bananas and hardboiled eggs! such a treat. For the rest of the family tons of cereals, pop tarts, toast, bagels, oatmeal, muffins, cinnamon buns, coffee and juice. a big treat for the kids to pick from 10 cereals we would never buy!! also to-go granola bars!! A nice coffee shop across the street also was open at 530 and non-lactose options for their coffee!! first time in states this week finding that!! called " she brews"

Perfect to stop over and sleep with the family

we stayed for two nights and we were barley at the hotel unless we were sleeping, we come back the next year to get a room and were red flagged for no reason, wouldn't be given a reason, and was talked to very disrespectfully was VERY racist.

Arrangements were made for me by another local hotel when my husband got sick and they did not have room.  This is a basic 2 story motel style. It is clean, fresh smelling and quiet. Easy in and out of the property. I did not eat breakfast here but it is in its own building. I would stay here again if I was in Anaconda.

My husband and I spent two very pleasant nights over Thanksgiving weekend at the Trade Wind Motel, using it as our base while we enjoyed the nearby Fairmont Hot Springs (only 15 minutes away by car) and other attractions in the area. From our first phone call to inquire about reservations and throughout our stay, owners Wydette and Kal Demachki and other family members we met were truly hospitable and gracious - it was dark, bitterly cold and blowing snow when we arrived, so Wydette's kind welcome and then finding a toasty warm, well-lit, spotless and obviously recently updated room were just what we needed. The cozy room had everything - fridge, microwave, TV, comfy beds, even an iron & ironing board, and its east-facing aspect was great in the mornings. We also appreciated the complimentary well-stocked breakfast bar. We highly recommend this well-run motel to anyone wanting an affordable alternative to the much more pricey Fairmont Resort.

Pleasant Surprise!

Excellent small town motel. Room was clean, spacious, & comfortable. Cal is a wonderful host who treated us like old friends. He allowed us to check in early & his staff respected our "do not disturb request". We did not partake in breakfast. Even though motel is on the main street coming into town, traffic noise was not a problem.
Will gladly stay there again.

Great, casual, laid back motel!

Don't judge a book by it's cover.  The outside is old looking as is everything in Anaconda.  It was a very nice place to stay.  The updated room was clean and had everything needed.  The breakfast building is huge with lots of quick food and lots of seating.

Was surprised by nice room.

Not a fancy place at all.  older.  But very well kept up by excellent owners.  Matresses are always fresh, firm and comfortable.
Breakfast is very good.  
Rooms are always clean.
Lots of room to park trucks and trailers.

Good value

This motel is clean, convenient and the price is right!! Our room had everything we needed and more. We have paid twice as much and not had a fridge, microwave, breakfast choices etc. We will stay here again no question.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here for one (1) night and couldn’t have been happier. The room was clean, quiet, and appeared to have been updated not too long ago. The water pressure was perfect and the bed was comfy. Breakfast included waffles, a variety of donuts and cereals, and a full selection of breakfast beverages. Given their reasonable rates and the other options in town, it’s truly unbelievable anyone could complain. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to the lovely town of Anaconda!

Oh, make sure to tryout O’bella! across the street if you like delicious pizza and breadsticks.

Comfortable and Restful

We reserved a room with a king bed  They put us in a room with two standard beds. We had no remote for the TV and the air conditioner was loud with an annoying squeak.  The beds have clean sheets but a very hot and heavy duvet that we could not stand to leave on the bed while trying to sleep. No blankets available so all we had was a sheet.  The shower was great with plenty of hot water and nice towels.  The breakfast was good.
