From the outside it looks nice , but there is no one onsite , you have to check in at the San Juan hotel .  The breakfast is given to you at the San Juan hotel when you check in! We were there for almost a week and got a basket of bananas , few water bottles and bunch of muffins , one of which was cut in half and missing the other half .. needless to say that didn't sit well !  After getting our key and went to the BB, no one was onsite to make Breakfast or have coffee or anything for you in the morning !!   The room had a slab of concrete that squeaked for a bed !  I think the hardwood floor would have been softer.     The whole house had no decor.. minimal furniture and and plain white walls .. looks like a dorm room ..   We will never stay here again .

Bed and Breakfast without the Breakfast 

This is a unique Bed and Breakfast in that it does not feel bound by the tradition of serving breakfast!

No breakfast was even served the weekend I stayed (too busy) but I still paid the price I booked at. The bed was not made and linens not provided...I had to call in the evening at bedtime to get new towels.  It is a shared bathroom which was in no way clear on hotels.com. I was not expecting much but was disappointed anyways.

The location is good...but that is it.  Never again will I stay here. Overpriced as well.

Not sure why but check in takes 10 times longer than it should.

Terribly Horrible- no breakfast

In my opinion, Bed and Breakfasts offer an opportunity to talk with local people and have a nice breakfast.  Ana's Bed and Breakfast is a house with multiple rooms.  You get your keys from a motel 3 blocks away.  We were given a choice of a garbage bag or a metal dish to take our breakfast back to the room.  The breakfast consisted of 2 bananas, 2 apples, 2 Costco muffins, and 2 warm bottles of water.  The shared bathrooms were large but they looked like a college dorm, water on the floor, towels on the floor, NOTHING LIKE A BED AND BREAKFAST

Because most of the hotels in town were booked, I figured I'd splurge and do a bed and breakfast.  Alas, to my deep disappointment, this is not a bed and breakfast!  It's really just a crummy hostel.  The "breakfast" was 2 bananas and 2 apples, two bottles of water, and two muffins in plastic wrap, served in a metal salad bowl, and given to me in the evening at check in!   My check in experience was less than pleasant--the staff was inattentive, distracted, kept rolling her eyes at anyone who needed anything.  The shared bathroom was not a big deal, and the bed was comfortable, but the hike from the hotel front desk (?) to the house (with no staff, and confusing instructions about locking the door upon leaving) was annoying and unexpected.  Decor was spartan.  It's a room to sleep in, and nothing more, which would be fine if it was priced accordingly.

It's an overpriced hostel.

This B&B which looks lovely and clean and so on is actually not a B&B but a hostel.  You have to go to the San Juan motel (where the rooms are $60-70 per night) to pick up the key and you get given your "continental breakfast" in a basket (apple, pear, banana, two muffins, a bag of grapes and two bottles of water).  Quoting the hostess "you can eat it now or in the morning, we don't care".  When you let yourself in there is no one to great you, no warmth or hospitality at all.  It really is a hostel.  Rooms are tiny and not soundproof at all.  There was no bedside table or lamp but worst of all, this was an uncomfortable night - the mattress while new seemed like it was made of folded cardboard.  .  The snoring from the next room very audible.  The shared bathrooms are all clean, new and serviceable but by this point you don't care... ALL of this would be fine if you were paying $60 to 70 like the San Juan Motel - but they charge $110+ so as a result one expects something more hospitable.  This felt like a rip off.  This is not B&B..
