We loved our nest at the Arctic Fox  for the time we stayed there . 
Comfortable, clean , friendly, light and a beautiful view . We loved the space, opportunity to prepare meals and socialize.  Bedroom and bed comfortable and made us sleep well. 
We recommend Apt 5 of the Artic Fox !

It was my favorite place to stay while visiting Alaska. It was easy to book, and I really, really appreciated the remote check in- it was so easy and convenient!! The atmosphere here was so comfy, homey, and relaxing. It was also walking distance to some shopping and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again. 

Relaxing and convenient

Luxury towels, comfortable bed, thick floor rug, spacious unit with kitchen and large bathroom.  Space available for parking if you rent a car. I used uber to arrive. The area is walkable. Close to restaurants and tour attractions.  I felt safe here and the area. I slept very well and would recommend this place to solo or couples. Pick up drinks and food on your way because there is a spacious kitchen with equipment to cook and clean.

Great stay in Anchorage. 

This bed and breakfast has been beautifully renovated inside. The rooms are spacious and include a kitchen and living room with Roku TV. It was a short walk to the water. We would definitely stay here again!!

Average on the outside but great on the inside!

We had a lovely time. Easy check in and checkout. Bagged breakfast provided. We ate out on the deck and ate. Beautiful views of mountains and small planes taking off. We stayed in king room. Shower was a tad short for my husband who is 6'5", but was fine for me at 5'4".  Would stay again!

Wonderful stay

Wow, what a nice surprise this place was! Not much to look at from the outside, but just amazing inside! The staff is SO nice.  The room was comfortable and sweet! But the best thing? The amazing sack 'to go' breakfast. Just perfect! An amazing place to stay - will FOR SURE book here again! Thank you all so much!

What a Nice Surprise!

It can be difficult to find the perfect place to stay when you are going somewhere you have never been. Staying at a big name hotel can seem like a safe bet but I like to immerse myself in the local flavor and finding a good B & B can be a good way to do this. Taking a chance on the Arctic Fox really paid off. What a wonderful find. My friend, Cindy, booked us a week there after several conversations with one of the owners, Larry. He always responded to questions, and answered every one we came up with. It is right outside downtown and made getting around very easy. It is a walkable distance to the Alaska Railroad, and had beautiful views all around. Walking into the office and shared kitchen/ living room we were impressed by the cleanliness and decor. We had a small apartment so we didn't need to use shared space much- but it was convenient to grab a cup of coffee in the morning and toast the mini bagels from our bagged breakfasts. The bagged breakfast was nicer than expected. A cutie orange,  perfectly boiled egg, a mini bell cheese, a container of yougart,  a bag of mixed nuts, a granola or protein bar, and a mini bagel with a pre packaged cream cheese. Not the usual all carb fare you usually get. It was too much to finish and was nice to save some snacks for hiking the trail, or as a pick me up. We had a table in the kitchenette, but chose to eat outside on one of the lovely table and chairs set up around so that we could enjoy the fresh air and the view. It was great to come back to the living room with large windows and relax after a long day of sightseeing.  We were on the third floor and that was great- but if you have any trouble climbing stairs you will want to stay on a bottom floor. There are stairs to enter the office as well. The grounds are well kept and the colorful flowers in pots brighten even an overcast day. The wonderful staff were always available for anything we needed. Houskeeping staff were always working and kept us in fresh towels and kept everything clean and safe. The price is competitive with the surrounding hotels, (less than most), but you get so much more.  Our stay was memorable and comfortable. If I were to return to Anchorage I would check for availability here first as I would love to stay again. 

That "home away from home" feeling.

We stayed in the Artic Fox for one night between arriving to Anchorage and travelling to Denali. The place is cute, very clean, and well-located.  Larry and staff were very helpful and kind. They helped us with getting supplies delivered to the hotel so we could leave early in the morning. They also accommodated our dietary preferences with no issues.  

I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place, super helpful staff

Once you walked in the door of the Arctic Fox you were in a little cocoon of luxury. The kitchen, dining and seating areas are all tastefully decorated with bright touches of color in the form of paintings of poppies. There is always someone to greet you and there through the day and each of them is so kind and helpful. Breakfast is in a bag in the fridge with your name on it and consisted of a hard boiled egg, bagel, cream cheese, baby bel cheese, nuts, a piece of fresh fruit and granola bar. It was more than enough and I often brought some of it with me for a snack during the day. Coffee and tea were available through the day.

My room was really nicely done with a window on 2 walls. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.

The location is tucked away so there's no traffic outside. I would definitely return to this lovely oasis in Anchorage on my next trip.

Great base to explore Anchorage and environs

We only stayed one night before taking off on our 2 week Alaska adventure but it was a great way to begin our trip. The b&b is close to restaurants and the airport.  We had a 2bed2bath apartment on 3rd floor. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was left in our frig while we were out to dinner and was surprisingly good. COVID has curtailed full breakfast dining in most b&b s.  Great outdoor spaces that we did not have time to enjoy. We would all recommend this b&b for short or longer visits.
