The hotel was clean and pleasant, dated but good. After reading reviews before I booked, I was very skeptical, but there was few choices.  But I was very pleased with it . The attendant was very pleasant and helpful.  

Quilt machine purchase 

Staff was friendly and accommodating.  Room was clean.  Property was quiet and area was nice.  Pool was not open but that did not bother us for this stay.  Overall was good for our one night stay and would stay again.

Good place to stay

Hotel has been recently renovated, and you can tell they take good care of it. Plenty of nice fluffy pillows on the beds, great women’s as well. They do not strip on shampoo or soap, they are also a pretty good brand so that’s a plus. This obviously is a Second tier hotel, so that’s why he gets a four-star when you put it up against other hotels in its category it should pan out pretty good. No regret staying here. I think it’s a no-brainer.

Why Not!

Stayed for one night while heading to Destin. The room was nice and enjoyed the big bed. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about area restaurants. One flaw- our drain in shower looked corroded and needed replacing. Other then that, I would recommend this place.

Very Nice and Good Price

It is an average moderate priced motel, so it isn't a comparison to a high end hotel but is okay for an overnight stay. Definitely older and harder to look really clean because of the age of the bathroom etc., but it was fine.

Nice that they have a microwave and fridge/freezer in each room. Also has a coffeepot (like a real 4-cup coffeemaker) but the coffee stocked in the room is some of the worst hotel room coffee.

Sadly, with COVID-19 concerns there was no breakfast - not even coffee available in the lobby. There is a drive-through coffee place just down the road, but they were closed too. However, room cleaning was still done daily even with COVID concerns.

Some negatives: The towels were the thinnest we'd ever seen in a hotel. They were clean and neatly folded, just very poor quality. The lights outside the room attracted bugs and a few followed us into the room (not the hotel's fault, and made us feel better when we saw bugs to know the reason why). We did have a maintenance issue but it was promptly fixed once reported and the staff were gracious. And there was a lot of noise with trucks backing up throughout the night and well heard in the rooms.

I'll try another motel in Andalusia on my next visit (that still provides coffee and something for breakfast), but the Days Inn would be okay if there wasn't another option available.

Ok place to stay

There were dead bugs in the globe in the bathroom light,paint was/is peeling in/on the shower ceiling,toilet was/is loose on floor,and last the faucet for the sink leaks water all over the counter top.....Room #207.These were mentioned at check out @ 5:50 AM........wonder if they will be fixed...????

OK for the price

Stayed in a room with a single King size bed. The room was clean. I inspected pretty thoroughly for bugs and rodents and only found a single spider web in a dark corner. Everything was as you would expect a hotel to be. There were no cleanliness issues. The bed was large and comfortable and there is an ice machine on every floor. I can't say I have an issue at all. The breakfast was comprised of little debbie pastries, granola, fruit, and microwavable grits. So, it's nothing exciting. There are probably better options on the road but there are restaurants nearby. Overall I would definitely suggest you stay here if you are in the area as there are really only 2 star hotels and motels and I can assure you that this one will provide a clean and comfortable place to lay your head. 

Definitely recommend if you are in the area

All of the staff was very friendly and professional.  I understand it's not a high end hotel, but many other hotels have gone back to full breakfast in mornings. I was really disappointed that the pool was in such bad shape. My fiancee and I wanted to get away for the weekend and with the heat we've had, we were really looking forward to enjoying sine time in the pool. There should be something one the website stating the pool is closed for whatever reason, but instead there are beautiful pictures of perfectly blue water, that is very misleading and disappointing.

Honestly, this room was $110/night and i was super disappointed. Cockroaches were literally drinking off of my cup as i’m eating dinner in the room. Also the pillows are literal couch pillows so if you decide to sleep here with the roaches at least bring your own pillows.

Dirty.

Stayed at this location 6/18/21 because Tropical Storm Claudette was providing tornadoes and dangerous driving conditions throughout south central AL (10 people killed on highway that day)  Asked for late check out(12-1:00) because of the tornado touchdowns in area and torrential downpours, only to hear "sorry, all rooms booked for the night." 
 
One hour later we were told, "you can rebook room for full rate even if you leave early."  Being from OK /Tornado Alley - we were worried, so we rebooked/paid full night.  We were able to safely leave @2pm because weather cleared enough to travel and  we wanted to get out of that place! 

Room was dated, though clean enough (but did keep shoes on even in shower!)  Have contacted DAYS INN Corporate - no help.  Donna at front desk was nice, somewhat apologetic, though there was no mention of breakfast and coffee in lobby at face to face check in on evening of 6/18/21, so we went out to find coffee and food in driving rainstorm :-(  Plus, said it shuts down at 9AM ON SATURDAY! Really?!? 

KEEP DRIVING to Defuniak Springs(45-50 miles)  for much better options!
