Rented this house for a week from vbro. Host was there when one family member arrived. That family member had dogs and the host saw the dogs coming in and spoke to the dogs. We paid the fee for the dogs during our booking and there didn't seem to be any problem. On our second day we contacted the host to have the third floor opened up because this was a whole house rental. We were expecting the host to stop by and that morning a lady knocked on the door and asked our 12 year old granddaughter if she could use the bathroom and then pushed her way into the house.  We immediately made the lady leave once We realized what was going on and then We reported this to the host. She later claimed the lady stole $6000 worth of stuff from the bathroom.  We checked it and saw nothing missing. The host said we broke house rules by having the dogs there and kicked us out after the 3rd day. We paid $6000 for that weeks stay and had to find another place to stay at the last minute. This lady is a terrible host and a crook. Beware renting anything from her.

This Hotel is an obvious scam. I booked and they took my money. They then cancelled my booking and refused to refund my money stating that they had closed down. Beware this is a SCAM. They continue to advertise for the nights that I had originally booked for. Obvious SCAM

This was our third stay at the inn and it was a great getaway for us. Our innkeeper Elizabeth was wonderful.The in was nice and clean and breakfast was excellent. We would recommend the inn to friends for future stays.

Getaway for LVC function

I've stayed at the Patriot House several times and it's always the same, a place you want to go to and a place you hate to leave. Thank you Elizabeth & Sammy for making my stay feel like being at home.

A Home away from Home

Beautiful house with all the amenities you need away from home. I stayed only one night but would definitely return. The house manager was charming and very accommodating. Very peaceful grounds, easy access to local attractions and towns. 

Review of Patriot House

Great place to stay in Annville PA.  Easy access to college, center of town, restaurants, and so on.  Elizabeth, the B&B manager was very friendly and helpful.   She responded instantly to inquiries, and provided spot-on advice and directions.  If we ever return to the area, this is where we will stay!

Great place to stay in Annville PA

My wife and I planned a getaway for our anniversary and first checked out the Patriot House over the summer. Annville is close enough that we drove over and met Elizabeth for the first time. While unable to show the place due to guests, she did explain the procedure to us rookie B-n-B'ers and was friendly from the get-go. Making reservations was a no-brainer after that.

During our stay from October 3-5, Elizabeth was nothing but wonderful! Welcoming, friendly, and very attentive to our dietary needs (the GF/DF sourdough coffee cake was awesome). We're both history buffs, and Elizabeth gave us the history of the house along with a tour of the unoccupied areas. She was so pleasant to talk to that it felt like staying at an old friend's place.

The house itself is very charming. Our room (The Freedom) was very clean and the decor reminded my wife very much of our her late grandmother's house. This sparked many a laugh in remembrance and a lot of warm feelings. Location-wise, Annville is between Hershey and Lebanon, so there's much to see and do with plenty of great places to eat (one of which was highly endorsed by Elizabeth herself and wasn't a disappointment; just ask her for recommendations). And Sammy Dog is a big, lovable fur-ball!

We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

We cannot recommend the Patriot House enough!

Came from Florida to Annville for our uncle's 70th wedding anniversary with 5 other family members.  We stayed one night at the Patriot House and we will never forget the lovely evening we spent sitting out on the back patio drinking wine and talking to Innkeeper Elizabeth.   I have stayed at many B&Bs but  Elizabeth is by far the best Innkeeper I have come across.   She made us feel so welcome and saw to our every need.  Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Weekend Getaway

Our host was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. absolutely beautiful house, good breakfast, and great price. stayed here for a concert at hershey and it was the perfect location. 

Wonderful Stay

We were in Annville visiting Lebanon Valley College for a recruiting camp and campus tour and wanted to give our potential LVC Student the best feel for the campus and local community.  Patriot House is a two block walk from the center of campus and is perfectly located to give off a true feel for the LVC Community.

The house is a well manicured, very traditional northern style home, with beautiful wood floors and appointed with furniture that gives off a very cozy feeling.  

Our suite had a large living area and a separate bedroom area with a private bathroom.  Everything was clean and comfortable.

Our Hostess, Elizabeth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable our entire stay.  She is very knowledgeable about the area, and extremely attentive to the details involved in making her guests feel welcomed and at home.

We will be making Patriot House our first choice for any future visits to the area.
