Most comfortable beds I've witnessed in a locally owned Inn ever! The management provides great service and the remodel is a drastic improvement. The price is the best in townand the rooms are clean. Great location.friendly and it's obvious management is on point with how they treat each customer as family and pride in the service provided. Thanks for the great stay!

Excellent location, value and the amenities are very much appreciated.  My elderly mom joined my husband and myself on a last minute trip. I mentioned to Hina about my mom's special needs and Hina was WONDERFUL! She offered us a great and spacious room with a mini fridge and microwave with TWO QUEEN BEDS...AWESOME!  We enjoyed our stay at this quiet and safe property. Thanks a mil Hina and Pelican Inn😃

EXCELLENT OVERNITE STAY

do not i mean do not reserve or stay there!!! sheets had hair, no clean linen, or towels they claimed they were beige lol ummm no they were dirty!!! rude customer service. threathen to not let me stay there because i asked for refund... man was rude!!  pubic hair on restroom floor ,left over beer all busted inside fridge

This hotel should be condemned and closed. The conditions are beyond what you can imagine. It had lots roach and rat droppings. The smell was absolutely horrible. The top lock was fastened to sheetrock and the bottom lock simply did not lock. Door trimming was ripped off and put on the side of the wall.there was a guy doing drugs in front of the door. The carpet had huge stains.I called to tell them about the conditions.She denied there were any issues and refused a refund and hung up.

Worst experience of my life

if i could give 0 stars i would. this place was absolutely disgusting. dirt all over, dust everywhere, mould in the bathroom, just absolutely filthy. when i arrived there were no towels in the room except for 1 little hand towel. there was a sign stating that there would be no regular housekeeping due to covid 19. yikes. it definitely showed. the sheets were supposed to be white but were definitely browning from not being cleaned. the room smelled absolutely disgusting. it reeked of cigarettes and mould, even though i got a no smoking room. THEN, i get a charge declined on my credit card due to it being out of my city WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. moments later i got a threatening voicemail stating that they know where i live and they WILL be collecting a $40 fee due to me stealing the towels. when i called to clarify that there were none in the room, i was once again accused of stealing the towels and they threatened to call the police. at this point, i demanded a refund due to the terrible conditions of the room. i got hung up on. i called back and spoke to the manager who AGAIN accused me of stealing the towels. when i demanded a refund he said, “no i will not be refunding anything. have a nice life.” ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE service and horrible rooms. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO CATCH SOMETHING THAT CANNOT BE WASHED OFF.

AWFUL

The room was OK and a bargain for an flat rate of $60 bucks. The beds were a little sunken in but comfortable. AC worked just fine but was a little loud. Needs some TLC and we will be back to see if there are any changes if we ever need a room on the spur of the moment kind of trip. 

Last Minute Trip

Considering that this place is already got poor ratings I'm just gonna add to it there was mold in the bathroom black mold in the ceiling.  The electrical outlet on the back side of the bed by the airconditioner started shorting out while I was trying to plug my cell phone in to charge the room did not have a badd odor they were in the process of remodellings head but they're doing the some very shoddy work just just not good workmanship in the complex but it was full every room was taken.  New mattresses new linen but I wouldn't want to stay there anymore I wouldn't recommend it.

Hazardous 

It was late.  We were exhausted.  We pulled in and tried to make the best of the situation.  We needed somewhere to stay for 12 hours.  

This place is so gross that despite the fact we had already paid... we chose to drive all the way back to Austin at midnight rather than try and stick it out.  NASTY!

The first thing we noticed were the 16 cats of all ages in the front window near the check in and the nasty smell coming from the bags of dirty litter sitting outside.  The lady claimed they were 'rescues'.  I think they need rescuing.  

We got into our room, and the horrid smell they tried to cover up with PineSol about knocked us over when we opened the door.  

The walls were so gross I wouldn't let my son touch them.  
They were covered in dirt and who knows what else. 

There were *multiple* spiders crawling around in both of the beds.  

The sheets had cigarette burns all over them.  

Save yourself.  Sleep in your car.  Drive somewhere else.  Don't stop here.

Arrived late looked ok from the road rented 3 rooms all were filthy bug infested and smelled awful .once you stepped out of the room an awful smell of cat urine was present when it was noticed the person living and running the place had many many cats in her suite trying to get out of the partially open window and the smell seemed to be coming from her suite.towels were dirty doors were broken and didn't close toilet tub and basin were not cleaned in any of the rooms .avoid this place .sleep under a cactus.no one slept much.if there was a health department in the area they should shut it down.the only reason it has a 1 rating is that 0 is not an option

Disgusting gross 

Terrible place. Pulled back sheets on bed and discovered the filthiest mattress I have ever seen. Did not go to bed that night. I sat in chair all night (with lights on). I put everything on the table so nothing could get in my bags.  Around 2:00 a.m. saw something run out of the bathroom and go under the refrigerator. About an hour later I saw the mouse. It went in between the wall and the molding. Half of the molding was missing in the room, so it could have gotten out anywhere.  It probably would have escaped to outside, but I had the bath towel stuffed under the room door due to the enormous gap under the door. Then the cockroaches started to move around the room. I did kill 2...the others got away. Finally had enough and went to my vehicle for the rest of the time. Went to the office and told the lady at desk about mouse and cockroaches...she did not seem to care. Do not stay at this place...it is a filthy, filthy dump.
