Don’t ever in your life go to Red Roof Inn High Point - University! I’m thinking it’s close to the university, it should be decent. It’s the nastiest place EVER! There was brown stuff on the sheet and comforter along with hair particles. It was a dirty, filthy room, and the clerk was RUDE!

Worst Visit

(1) I am a Black person who was racially harassed by the white housekeeper on the property. 

(2)Per reviewers below, the hotel is simply filthy. Blankets not clean in the room, lack of common amenities (towels, washcloths, etc) in room, missing light fixtures, and smells like smoke even though "no smoking" inside. They will not clean your rooms and will not make your stay minimally comfortable.

Racism, filthy

We had the opportunity to stay at the red roof inn High Point for 
nights while visiting a local university. We were very pleased overall for the price. The room was clean which was our primary concern. It was nothing fancy, but for the price we felt it met our needs. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had requested a quiet room and were placed on the 3rd floor. It was very quiet.

Excellent

Arrived late at night, pouring raining the clerk at the front desk gave me trouble about moving his vehicle from the front door so I could unload the car with small children.  Room was okay, bathroom not cleaned hair in shower and you know what in the toilet. No small bottles of shampoo like advertised downstairs at front desk breakfast so Saturday was closed early. Sunday's was open but not good, basically served bread. Coffee was nasty and orange juice was watered down. I don't recommend this hotel.

Not my cup of tea

This hotel was dark and gloomy. The lobby smelled of stale cigarettes and thick deodorizer. Upon entering the second floor and later the third floor because they gave us a different room since our keys didn't work, BOTH hallways smelled of marijuana. Our room wasn't dirty, but it didn't feel clean either. We didn't have enough towels or washcloths, NO REMOTE, and NO WIFI. We found out that in order to have wifi, we would have to upgrade from our 2 Doubles to a SUPERIOR KING for the free wifi?? Isn't this 2019? So no TV and no WIFI. Hmmm, The beds were flimsy and pillows super thin ... I just wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. It needs a serious update.

Would not recommend

I’ve been to much nicer red roof inns. This one is kind of secluded and dirty. It definitely needs an upgrade. The beds were messy, there were hardly any towels, the staircase and elevator smelled of marijuana and I definitely felt the need to triple lock our doors. Customer service was not the best. When we called to ask about bringing our dog, the person on the phone was rude, and when we checked in, the woman behind the desk looked bored and didn’t even get out of her chair. You can do better Red Roof Inn

when i enter to hotel very clean hallway with good interior .a pretty women was attemped me and given good responed.
very net and clean room and bathroom with new interior .
breakfast  area also net and clean.

showing very good behaviour  of staff, clean room and  verygood interior and new room and good room sarvice and low budget with hot brekfast vary big parking and easy to exit  the 85 highways , i always like to stay her .

GOOD SARVICE AND CLEAN ROOM

Came here at about 2 am to stop for the night when you first come in looks like a brand new hotel. Looks to be remodeled and our room was clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly and prices are reasonably 

Good service clean room

I stayed there for a night. The rooms was quite spacious and the breakfast was hot and fresh, also it is nearly the I-85 highways which was really helpful to get in and out of the highway.  The hotel looked updated and the check was really fast, also the front desk Clark was really friendly and helpful.
