BEDBUGS! I woke up with welts all over. We searched the covers and caught the bugs and identified them. We showed the attendant. He said nobody else that used that room complained. Refused to refund our money. 

Bedbugs

It appears to be an old 1940’s motel.  It was okay but had its problems. It was very dim in the room, one lampshade was falling apart. Small bathroom with shower. Very thin towels, low water pressure. The pedestal sink had cracks in it. There were no plugs in the bathroom for hair dryers, electric razors etc. One of the wall plugs in the room was so loose a plug wouldn’t stay in it. No coffee or amenities in the room. It had two queen beds, 1 nightstand, a desk, small round table and chair and a dresser. The room was cramped with not a lot of room to walk around. There was also a kitchenette which was a joke. It had a full-size fridge which was nice and a newer microwave. The cabinets were original 1940’s cabinets, one drawer wouldn’t even open. The stove/oven was filthy. I sure wouldn’t want to cook on it. It was grimy with grease. There weren’t any dishes/cookware in the kitchen, which is just as well as I imagine they wouldn’t be clean. All that being said, the rest of the room was clean, the beds comfortable and it was quiet and the Wi-Fi worked well. Rang the bell to check out but no one answered so we left our keys in the room and left.

A one night stay is all you’d want

Worst beds, pillows are rocks, does not apy honor advertised rate, terrible water pressure, skimpy bed covers, creapy guy at desk, office smells, weird noises, rediculously high rates for crappy room.

Stay away

I reserved this hotel because it look nice in the pictures. When we pulled up on the street and my friend I was with said it looked like something from a horror movie. There it looked abandoned, there were concrete steps not well poured going into the rooms gave her vibes of the slums.  She said I don’t want cockroaches in my luggage so we did not even go into the parking lot and went down to quality in and stayed there it is way nicer for ten dollars more a night

Do not believe the pictures

This motel was clean, but the towels were thread bare, the sheets the same...and no amenities, such as shampoos etc.  For a place in Parker to charge 110.00 before taxes, it is way overpriced.  But there is nothing else nearby on busy weekends, so they have you.  
Also, we were in the room at 9AM, getting ready to leave when the cleaning person came waltzing in on us.  Very disturbing. There are no secure lock on the doors.  Otherwise, the place is doable, but questionable.  

Little shabby

My family and I were traveling through from out of state. The pictures on booking.com were decent and so was the price to keep our family of 8 in one room. However, when we arrived we quickly noticed the pictures were not as advertised. It was a dump and in the ghetto. There was no RV/Trailer parking on site or close by (we had a moving truck, personal vehicle and two trailers). The manager was extremely rude when inquiring about canceling our reservation and I am currently jumping through hoops with booking.com to file my complaint.

Absolutely disappointed

They do accept pets if you arrange ahead of time. Fees might apply.

This place is not so bad, but then my room came to $60 and it took three hours for the ac (which was shut off) to cool the air and take the heat out of the bed. This is bad practice.

Otherwise, a nice small refrig and terrific tv. Its right off main street, but not within walking distance of the fast food spots. There is a pizza hut on the corner. The other pizza place in town was $25 for a two topping pizza. Ridiculous.

The toilet was a joke, even though the bathroom was clean as could be, as I had to flush it four times to get the bowl to empty and even then I had to take the tank cover off and push the plunger down so it would add more water. Seems to me if you have to flush four times they sure are not saving water by chintzing on it.

Very nice hosts though.

If you are an Eagle member there is one in town and it is small, but cozy.

I went to Mayas Sport Cantina and was wowed by the salsa bar. Many of them looked the same, but each one had a hand made difference that was noticeable when eaten. I would go back to try the bigger platters when I am in town again.

DOn't waste your money at Blue Water Casino. We spent and could barely get a machine to pay off anything unless we met half the way to max or even max. Not fun and the prices of beer ($3 for a can of Budweiser) are way way too high. Drink elsewhere.

Traveler With Dog

We were late in Joshua tree and had to drive towards the Grand Canyon, the first place we found was that.
Poor quality room, strong deodorant to cover god knows which other smell, no coffeemaker in the room, no coffee served from the front-office even if it had been promised at check-in.

Not dirty but at least that was a plus.

Use Only in case of emergency

Booked a room and plans changed, cancelled 24 hrs prior but still got charged, called and pretty much got a 'too bad for you' attitude from them. Now disputing with the CC company. Hoping to get my money refunded but not holding my breath.
