No longer there! This motel burned to the ground several years ago after a kid was playing with matches and set the ground on fire. At least that is what the papers reported. It is not just weeds and grass. No structure remains.

This place has burned down years ago

It was a poor start to my stay - the receptionist (?) did not speak a word of English and could not answer any of my questions. I had a signing in pad pushed towards me and a key card and that was it. Welcome to Yankee Village Motel!!!!
I worked out that the "continental breakfast" was in the reception area and went to my room.
Initially I was horrified - the décor was scruffy and badly in need of repair; the shower looked old and dilapidated and TV and unit were ancient (but it did work).
However when I climbed into the king size bed, the sheets were crisp and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the next morning the shower worked well and the towels were white and soft.
I had had a good night's sleep despite my first impressions and the other 2 nights I was there were as good.
Breakfast, however was dire. The bagels were like stone, the water flask for tea was broken, the coffee was barely warm and the only other food was sweet - muffins or Danish pastries.
I did sleep well but I cannot recommend this motel - I do expect to have someone who speaks English to sign me in and answer any queries and I do expect breakfast to be edible, even if it is only continental.

Dreadful first impression but was better than it seemed

This place was great.  I was driving through and needed a simple place to stay and this fit the bill.  It was clean and comfortable and the woman at the desk was very friendly.  Plus, it's just off of I-91.  I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about, as I found the bed, room, and bathroom neat and fresh.  It's a simple motel, but it worked out perfectly for me.

Great place to stay for the night

Very run down motel, the staff was at least friendly and the room was cheap $75. The room was dirty and old.  the room did the job for one night and it was good to get out of the cold and get some rest. The shower was absolutely horrible. This place needs some help.

Run down motel

I think this has been one of the worst places I have ever been but... I did not care at all. I spent the most special, awesome and fun night with the sweetest and most amazing girl eva. I just didn't want to fall asleep because I had fallen in love.
The condition of the facilities and all the ew facts? Who cares?! I will never forget this Motel, that night and that... I mean this girl.

Stayed here last week after being forced off the highway due to a bad snowstorm which I was thankful for (which included a 8hr power loss due to storm) - I found the room clean & had the basics ( which included Microwave & Coffeemaker) - The Bed was comfortable & clean - the water HOT & an ample supply of clean towels...  also room had a space heater which was adjustable & kept room warm & comfortable.....also found the price for this single room reasonable......was also conviently located off the highway (Rt.91).....this traveler was thankful & pleasantly surprised by this Shelter from The Storm & would stay there again & recommend it.
