Needed to stop and sleep for a few hours before continuing trip. Nice person working in office. Clean bed sheets. Clean bathroom. Quiet. Great BBQ Restaurant 1 mile away. It’s an old, old  school motel. Old School Prices. If you want to save money this place will work, if you want a Marriot type experience go elsewhere. Room was $29 Dollars. For Twenty Nine Dollars I give the place Five Stars.

Save Money. Get a quick nights sleep.

Made the mistake of trying to save money.
I felt unsafe with the welfare trash drug addicts there...trash overflowing....nothing swept or kept clean..the fridge had spilled food in it I regret opening the door to it....the pillow have plastic bags on them under the pillow case...the cover on the base of the beds has fluid stains looks 20 years old not sure if I want to guess what kind of bodily fluid....do not ever walk on that sickening carpet....hit water in shower runs never turns off all the way...wifi does not work. Substandard lifers live there monthly guaranteed welfare socialist Biden supporters that do not want to work and do not care about others....people yelling...loud cars...if you like defund the police and I am a victim you will love this place I will never stay there again they care about nobody only the money third world hell hole...

Hopefully I can upload a photo of this disgusting place.  My wife and I decided to check this local hotel out to make sure we could  recommend family and friends a place to stay.  There are several disgusting and un acceptable things going on here but nothing I have ever seen or heard of compares to this. Someone has peed on the bed!  It has soaked through all the layers and is still damp, even on the floor… How could this happen? There are cigarette bits on the window seal and a sticky substance on the night stand. Absolutely disgusting.

We are a family of 4 (2  kids who wants their own bed) so usually our budget for overnight stay usually range from $50-$60 plus taxes.  There was a storm coming through and traveling from afar, we did not want to get stuck so we decided to stop here before the pass. If you are coming from Vegas, this is the first town on the highway before Williams and then Grand Canyon. 
Its a popular trucker stop and there is absolutely nothing around; so expect this to be a quick stop and go. 

We saw the weekday price and thought it will be cheaper than staying at Flag Staff or Williams for our visit to the Grand Canyon so we booked two nights.

We arrived late at night  - it was raining and the parking lot in front of our ground floor unit was full. It was tricky getting our staff in as the roads and path were muddy from unloading car to the room. 

The room was old but looked neat and cleaned- towels were provided. Our biggest problem was that it smell heavy of smoke - even though there was a "no-smoke" sign on the outside of the front door, designating that this is a non-smoking room.  There were many hispanic families with large numbers cramming into each room around us.  People were smoking in and outside the rooms. 

The carpet also have a heavy dog stench. The fridge was large with a huge freezer. There weren't enough plugs so we unplug the TV to free up for the microwave.

The front desk gentleman, Jason, was extremely nice. This is a small motel so many people walk-in and sometimes it gets booked up on the day of.  He offered to hold the room for us till 4pm but we paid in full in advance anyways to confirm the booking. 

However, after one night, we decided the smoke and dog smell was so difficult for us to endure. So, the next morning, we explained to Jason who so kindly refunded us the second night.  I asked about the non-smoke sign and pet policy to which he said, "it's $30/night" and shrugged his shoulders.  They tried to explain to folks but I guess enforcing is a different story. If you keep in mind and be realistic about what you paid is what you will get, you are less likely to be disappointed. 
 We have not stayed in any US motels at this price range so it is understandable why the standard is lower than that of one that charges more. 

I would have given a lower rating but in all fairness, Jason was very nice and helpful - he saved us a hairdryer and a microwave both of which usually are not available in all rooms (but the microwave was pretty dirty so we did not use it after all).  I would not stay here again because of my families' concern over smoke and pet but if these do not bother you, the room is a steal compare to prices you find the next towns over. 

When we checked out, we saw a teenage girl sitting by the laundry room with HUGE commercial washing machines running the laundry.  The on-site laundry gave me a sense of relief knowing at least they do clean frequently and after every turnover since they have own machines.

Cheap room, neat but strong smoke and pet smell. Trucker stop. Get what you paid for.

I happened upon this place by accident and I’m pretty glad I did. The price  is as advertised and not I draw and switch. It’s obviously kind of old but reasonably well kept up. My room was clean but it smelled of cigarette smoke. Fortunately I had some air freshener that is perfect for that so five minutes after a good spray and you couldn’t tell. The TV was in good working order and the bed was OK but the refrigerator didn’t work. The air conditioner did it’s job for sure and while the water pressure wasn’t great there was decent hot water.

Good Value

The place advertises free Wifi, which is true, but not in the rooms because "it's a small town." I would have wanted a third towel since there were two other guests with me. Expect to go without convenient power outlets, hair dryer, and small personal care items except a bar of soap. Overall, this was a nice stay. The front desk guy was really nice, and the room smelled and looked very clean. At less than $40 for three people, I would stay here again and recommend.

A basic place to rest your head

Made reservations 1 month ahead for 3 nights.  First off should have been a clue to run when they couldn't find my reservation. When they found it, I was charged for 2 nights unknown to me at the time because a total was not given to me. I just took it for granted I was  charged correctly. First night there we couldn't charge our phones nor our watches as there was only one outlet that worked and that was the one the tv was plugged into. Night manager stated she would have someone look into having the repair done. We were gone the next day, all day and still came back to only one 
outlet. Third and final day, we leave the room around noon. Came back that night and found we had been locked out. We went to the office and were then informed we didn't pay for 3 nights, we only paid for 2.  The young man yelled at my husband," do you want me to jump over this counter and shove this (receipt) in your face?" The owner came out only because I had been yelling that I made a reservation for 3 nights.  My daughter who lives in the area was also quite upset as many of the family has stayed there.  Because of the poor service she will be directing family elsewhere.  I will never refer family or friends there.

No customer service

Stayed there for 2 nights with my family. As it is very close to the Grand Canyon and on the historical Route 66 it is a good place to stay. It´s not the worst place to stay, but it´s not the best either. A/C made a lot of noise (I think it was older than me), no wifi in our room at least, plastic mattress/pillow covers made the sleep uncomfortable to say the least and also saw some bugs as we got into the room (didn´t tell the missus, just threw them out :D ). At one point in the night a pipe apparently bursted in the wall, next day we were moved to another room without a hassel so not too bad. But yeah, it´s mostly location that is going for them!

Close to the canyon

Stayed at this hotel while traveling Route 66.  This is no frills budget motel, was clean, great shower, beds pretty good, sheets and blankets iffy. If you spending one night it should be fine.  Don't expect too much as you won't be sorry. Spent 72.00 for two people.  I think the advertisement is 29.00 for one.

No frills budget motel

The motel is along the highway to reach the Grand Canyon (1 hour drive). The room was poorly clean and there were less towels than guests. A refrigerator (quite dirty) was present in the room and a microwave available upon request. Only for people with a low budget and high adaptability
