We had a reservation to see the eclipse.  We booked 4 months ago.  They called today, 6 days before our reservation to say “something broke” and they had to cancel us.  They would not give us another room at a comparable price.  Looked on the website and they have openings for 4 times what we paid for the same type of room.  NOT OKAY!

Horrible

This motel is an older motel that seems to be well maintained. Our room was clean and the shower unit was very nice and clean. There is a Sheetz next door and  we walked over and got snacks. I would stay again when in the area.

Clean rooms

Everything from Niagara Falls, NY through Pennsylvania was booked. After driving two hours we caved and stopped at this place at 5 A.M. The staff was very friendly & even cut us a deal for $60 to stay & sleep til 11 (check out time). Although it served its purpose, the room smelled heavily of smoke. There was no hot water, & I think a crime (not sure to what degree) may have occurred a few rooms down from us #batesmotel j/k lol

Not bad, if you’re desperate...

I was satisfied with our room. We had no power and had to stay for a nite. Its not a 5 star motel but room was very clean..hot water ran out quick the housekeeper gave us extra pillows without acting like it was an inconvenience. I did tell the front desk upon leaving that we were satisfied with our stay. 

Power outage

I would never stay there again. I came with my wife due to a death in the family. There was a hole in the wall. The exaust fan was down. I went to the office and the guy cldnt speak English. I wanted a different room he wanted to.have me pay again. I told him I wanted to move. He didn't understand me. I wanted a refund and he said no. They weren't busy so he cld have moved me. The pic of.the soaps.isnt right. I had to stay cause he didn't understand  us
It is a unfriendly place and dirty. And noone will understand you if u need any thing. We stayed one nite them left. We lost one night but found a cleaner and friendlier place

Unfriendly

Paid for 2 nights through a travel agency for this place and only stayed 1 and ONLY because it was too late at night to find something else! Our room smelled awful, there were burn holes in the comforter sets and curtain, one of the bed sheets were torn and taped over, the bathroom floor was sticky AND our bed had brown stains all over them!! Yes, we have pictures of it! On top of this, they accidentally charged me twice and say they refunded it but still no sign of the refund in my bank account and they are refusing a refund for the second day that we didn't even stay!!! Our travel agency Paycation also isn't trying to help us either! So fed up with the whole situation, out over $300 for a one night stay at a place that wasn't even worth it! Please do not go to this hotel!!!

Most disgusting place! Do NOT stay there!!

Most of the reviews for this terrible motel are from 2013. I am disappointed I say that they are still not taking any negative reviews and trying to improve. I made reservations for the 3 bed room on Saturday afternoon on THEIR website and held the room with my credit card. I received an email Confirmation that the room would be available. I had 5 adults and 1 child in my group. When we arrived at 6 pm the lady behind the GLASS told me that she didn't know anything about online reservations and she would have to call her manager. The manager told the lady that the room had already been rented to someone else even though we had a confirmed reservation. I told her I had a email and she said that is not going to change anything that they were not going to be able to offer us any other rooms except for the one in the basement. It had ONE king size bed. Really??? for 5 adults and a 5 yr old? That would be real cozy!!! I told her that this terrible place was beyond poor in their customer service. Now I know why they have a glass wall between you and them.
