Walking distance to everything.
Pool is right across the parking lot which was just remodeled in 2018.

Great place! Unit #5

We stayed in Unit 207. Found it through 'home away site' -

It was a great location - easy walking to the local free shuttle bus to the different Aspen mountains (same ski lift for all four mountains). The condo was clean, spacious and excellent for our two families (4 adults, 4 kids) - with four separate living areas after we turned a study area into a 4th bedroom. Would have been good to have a large dining table, but was ok to sit at the bench or in living area. Outdoor BBQ was a bonus. Had a good communal spa & pool. The local supermarket (City Market on E Cooper Ave) was a few blocks away with a good range of produce at reasonable prices; it was an easy walk and we purchased most of our food/meals from there. Wandering around the attractive snow-covered township of Aspen was great, well lit, felt safe, ice sculptures, lots of cafes, and interesting shops - including an excellent bookshop (Explore Booksellers in E Main St - with a cafe & friendly personal service). The skiing was brilliant - long slopes catering for every level and style of skier. We had great weather also, so the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. Had some great meals on the slopes and the night tubing at Snowmass was fun. Being able to fly into the ski area - with the airport only 5-10mins from the center of Aspen, was a bonus. The fireworks - preceded by skiers coming down the slope with flares was excellent. The firefighters museum was also worthwhile.

Great ski accommodation for families

Just stayed in Unit 7 at Fifth Avenue Apartments for 8 nights with a couple of friends in early February 2015. While there is no rating for "good" this would be more the review rather than very good. The unit was spacious, the kitchen well appointed (albeit we asked a few times for the toaster to be replaced given it wasnt working), the lounge and bedrooms were comfortable and the daily room clean etc was excellent. Only a couple of minor issues was the noise of the central heating which other people have mentioned which you got used to a little, while the dividing door for the 3rd room area (off the loungeroom) was also damaged (which we were advised about), which caused minor privacy issues. If you dont enjoy a good stiff walk up the hill at the end of the day with skis and boots find something in town, however the price and level of accommodation was pretty reasonable. Not sure what can be done re the heating noise and maybe it can be turned down at night to avoid the thermostat going on and off all the time. The management at Frias Properties were very receptive and they were very helpful in letting us use their facilities and lock our gear up when we checked out of our room and to use their facilities and get changed after we ski'd for the day prior to flying out of Aspen. Overall a good unit and was reasonable value. I would stay again and was what I expected.

Unit 7 Comfortable, Spacious

We stayed in Unit 8 for 8 nights, the luxury condo is well appointed, furnished beautifully, clean and well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable however there is a hot water system in the cupboard next to the bedrooms that turns on every 10 minutes, it sounds like a train going through your bedroom. I reported it to Frias reception but nothing was resolved. The property is a short walk from gondola, uphill after a long day skiing. Jacuzzi is shared with Durant which is only short run in the snow.
I have stayed at 10+ properties in Aspen over the years, I will not stay at 5th Ave again unless the noise issue is resolved.
Do yourself a favour and stay at Aspen Square or Durant.
Missing Aspen skiing but enjoying catching up on sleep :)

Great if you don't require sleep

We stayed in unit 14 for a ski holiday. This condo is on the ground floor and has absolutely no view, but this was not a concern as most of the day we were out or it was dark. The furnishings were fine and the rooms were clean and well serviced, with 2 flat screen TVs, free internet, and a good kitchen. The property is now managed by Frias Properties. 
However, the condo is heated by a gas furnace, as is the hot water; the heating unit generates an enormous amount of noise, and is located in a cupboard in the lounge area. It was equivalent to trying to sleep in a 747 jet !! We dealt with this by turning the heat up in the evening (mid winter remember) and then turning it down for the night hoping it would stay off for the night and that we wouldn't get too cold.
Apart from that, the condo was ok, but there was also an issue with the electronic lock; we found that the flat was being entered by persons unknown (not the house-keeping service) - when this was reported, Frias Management said they would look into it, but never responded to us on such an important concern.
Because of these last 2 issues, we can not recommend staying at this condo.
