Owner allowed me to check in early and my room was very clean. He was very courteous even though I made a mistake with my reservation and I appreciate that he didnt know that me and my husband had already had a long bad day starting early but he made our day with the early check in

It was a reasonable place to stay for the night. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The front desk employees were very friendly. We did not stay for breakfast because we were going to The Masters! Was only 15 minutes away.

Reasonable rate

Mattress was so worn out it was lumpy and went clear to the bottom with no support.  Foam pillows were so old the foam was crumbling.  Refrigerator had a relay on the back that made a loud click a clack the whole time we were there.  It did keep items cold that were put in it.  A/C was good.  TV worked although I noticed there were a whole lot more channels available when we woke up than there were the evening before.  Manager was friendly.  Stay did not ruin trip but also did not enhance it at all.

What you pay for

You need to rethink your star rating on this hotel.  Our room, although quite clean, has seen better days.  You cannot look anywhere without seeing something worn, a hole in the wall, or something in need of painting.  There is a continuous musty smell , which is accompanied by the smell of disinfectant.  We must keep the air low in order to help disguise the smells, which results in us freezing.

A hotel in need of refurbishing

When we arrived the guy at the front desk was super nice, but that was the only time he was there. When we got to our room it smelled like strong chemicals, the bed sheets were stained the cover had burn marks in them so did the table next to the bed and the circular table did too. When turning on the heat it smelled like it was going to catch on fire. The door didn't even have a chain lock and we had to depend on the knob lock to keep the room locked at night. We ended up putting the bigger table in front of the door for extra security. The mini fridge looked and smelled horrible. There was roaches all over the bathroom. The bathtub had cigarettes burns and I guess they forgot to tell us it cost extra for a shower curtain. The only thing that was in the room was a bed, TV, and a mini fridge. No kitchenettes no coffee maker and the "Free Breakfast" was just some form of bread and jams. The last day we were there we had someone who works there knock on the door at 5 in the morning telling us that we needed to get up and leave (note check out isn't until 11am) I told the guy when check out was and he insisted on us leaving right then and there so I said we would be out by 9am he again banged on the door at 6:30am and then again at 7:30 am giving us the excuse that they needed to renovate the room we were staying in that very second. Also while there the maintenance workers that was painting the building during the day got paint on my car and it hasn't came off we even went through a car wash to get it off. If I could give this place negative stars I would. 

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!!!!!

End up reserving a room here due to the proximity to Ft Gordon, when arriving to the hotel and noticing the bullet proof glass in the reception area I knew this probably was not the best option. I decided to check in because the stay was already paid for and I knew it will be very difficult to get a refund. This motel needs a lot of work, but the worst of it was the place was infected with roaches. After one night, I decide to leave and get a room in the Hampton Inn in Gordon Hwy
