I'm a female  travel for work I must say pictures do not correlate with hotel and room appearances.  The parking  lot is dark the room is literally  falling  apart. Not sure why this place  still open to the public. Just look at the pictures  I'm not saying  anymore .

Very scary

Disgusting.  I should have turned around and walked out as soon as I saw the condition of the room.  The tub was clean but very stained, the bathroom had a hole in the wall from the door hitting it and the door itself was peeling at the bottom.  The headboard of the bed ad a gouged hole and I had to ask for extra towels as 2 of us were staying there.  The front of the refrigerator was all rusty.  Because I had pre-paid for the room I dealt with it for 3 days.  I called Choice Hotels with my complaint and they were trying to appease me with some points for "future" stays!!  Trying to reach Choice Hotels is as bad as staying in one.  On hold for at least an hour (I'm stubborn and don't give up).  I tried filling out a complaint form online and wouldn't go through..  Lousy company will never again choose Choice Hotels.

We stayed here one night on our way down south. It is an older hotel but was clean. Prices are ok and it is convenient if you are traveling further south. Nice staff. Do allow pets for an add on price. Our roof on the 2nd story faced the lake just south so we had a nice view.

Overnight Stay

My stay was great. my family and I always stay here when I come back home to Sebring. The staff is friendly and very helpful, they always go above and beyond for us. It was a great place to stay. The room was clean and the shower and toilet were immaculate. One nice feature in the room was a map of the 50 states featuring license plates for each state. Another feature that was appreciated was a combination power outlet/USB outlet because I lost my chargers base and didnt want to buy a new one. Overall the stay was good with friendly check in staff and wifi that was flawless.

RELAXING AND PEACEFUL

A friend and I were looking for a cheap hotel for a couple nights while at a sporting event here (just outside Sebring). We chose this based on price, and assumed it would at least be clean. Wrong. We walked into the lobby and my shoes stuck to the floor. Gross. Then, on to the room - let’s take a look at some pictures! This non-smoking room had cigarette burns in the bedspread, smelled horrible, was filthy - including roach droppings in the drawers - and we walked back out and got a refund. I wouldn’t stay here for free.

The room and the bathroom are olds. The bed is confortable but tha't all.
the breakfast can't take his name, only coffe and muffin.
The hotel has taken too much money on my credit card and they never refund me.

Old hotel, bad breakfast, poor level of quality, not honnest

If you like bugs, inside and out,  this is the place for you. 
Cheap accommodations, but not good. 
Right on a lake, close to food and shopping (what shopping there is in the area), but not in walking distance.  Relatively safe area right off the main road through the county. No traffic light to turn left out of parking lot,  across 6 lane hwy. 


BUGS

My house was tented so I needed a motel for 3 days, selected Econolodge, what a mistake!! First, desk clerk was on what sounded like a personal call and me being "just a customer" had to wait while she kept looking at me like I should go away and come back later. Got checked in, walked into the room and started to turn around and walk back out. Fridge had something brown all down the front of it, put some cokes in it, they froze solid, found where to raise the temp, but it didn't work. Window sill was filthy, in the bathroom there were nail (the sharp part) hanging down from the ceiling above the shower curtail, there were 2 count them 2 dead bugs on the back of the sink, and speaking of the sink, it is loose and seems to be about to fall off the wall. The only way you could use it for the TV was to stand directly in front of the TV. Room had a strange musky smell. I had dealings with desk clerks on all shifts, someone needs to explain to them the concept of customer service. NEVER heard a "may I help you?" Thank you" and NEVER SAW A SMILE!!! My money pays their salary, or do they think the motel would pay them without guests staying there??? I will be calling corporate office tomorrow, but wanted to warn others about staying here,,, DON'T DO IT  I would liked to have given a less than 1 rating but could not....

HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, DIRTY, SMELLY

Stayed here for the Central Florida Region SCCA Turkey Trot event at Sebring International Raceway.  Affordable rate for this weekend.  Room 215 needs some loving.  Appeared to have a recently laid down faux hardwood floor but was a bit buckled.  Refrigerator is definitely older with chipped paint and frost in the freezer area.  Although it is a smoking room, I hope the smoke detector was working in the event of a fire.  Obvious crack in the sink that was repaired but noticeable.  Shower and toilet were clean and a fan in the bathroom was a welcome touch.  One nice feature in the room was a map of the 50 states featuring license plates for each state.  Another feature that was appreciated was a combination power outlet/USB outlet.  Overall the stay was good with friendly check in staff and wifi that was flawless.

Good Hotel in need of TLC

What can I say?  It’s an Econo Lodge.  The exterior is gritty and could use a thorough scrubbing with a power washer.  The room smells musty, neither of the reading lamps by my bed worked and the clientele staying in other words were as scruffy and gritty as the hotel exterior.  But it’s only for one night and you can’t beat the price 

Would I stay here again?  Probably.  Would I expect improvements over what’s here now - probably not.  After all it’s an Econo Lodge!
