The couple that own and run this little hotel are the nicest people you will come across.  They went out of their way to move their own vehicle and make sure we had a place to park and plug in our boat overnight.  The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.  Great stay and great people.

Fishing OH Ivey 

Our room was clean, the TV, microwave, and refrigerator worked. The shower had ample hot water and pressure and the ice bin was full of ice. The only drawback was the WiFi in our room was too weak to work. In short, this was an almost ideal budget inn. We'll be back.

Pros
Easy check in.  Friendly manager.  New carpet.  Nice bed.  Plenty of TV channels.

Cons
Our door frame was weak, and cracked from being kicked in.  A lot of mold in the tub/shower.  The pool was inoperable, and not advertised as unavailable.  Overall, dingy and old.

Disappointing At Best

I got room for my daughter and her husband check in was good. They sat up  for a while watching tv . First off the window had all these dead black bug in it plus a stick to keep anyone from coming thru window.. So they climbed in to bed and right away something started biting them.. They call me at 12:30am to tell me about it. They had already called to let the people running it know and they guy said since you have been here for 4 hrs already no refund.. I am fixing to go fight the charge on my credit card because they would not put them in another room they ended up sleeping in the truck..

Bugs

Has a comfortable bed (our sleep number didn't work but it didn't matter to us) a nice bathroom, TV has plenty of channels along with a fridge and microwave. 
Room is clean and it's close to Walmart, tractor supply and a couple fast food places. 
The owners are very friendly and helpful with accommodations (like when your debit card won't work and it's 830 pm, with no cash on hand).
We've stayed here twice now and will continue to stay when we have reason to be in the area

Nice place to stay

This hotel was old and very dirty. When patching a hole in the wall they don't do it right, then paint over the blobs. They also paint over dirty walls, corners, and crevices which causes the paint to peel. The tub had some sort pf black stuff  on the inside wall. They either didn't see it or never clean anything but the bottom of the tub. Every painted surface had dust/dirt on it. Maybe the men just think they have to clean sink, toilet, vacuum carpet and change sheets because they certainly didn't dust anything.

The first room we were given locked but when we locked it from the outside then pushed on the door it opened. When we complained, the man said to just lift up on it. Once inside, door still opened even after it was locked. He knew about the lock or door issues previously, but still rented the room out. He finally gave us another room.

In the second room, the bathroom window did not lock. It had a stick leaning diagonally in the window. It did not stop the window from opening though. The stick just fell down. The window was large enough that a person could climb through it.

The Sleep Number beds they advertise do not work correctly. Some are deflated when you get there. One inflated after holding the button a long time. The other never inflated. We checked to see if it was plugged in, and it was. 

This motel mostly rents by the week to construction workers or temporary workers. When someone is living full time in a place it should get cleaned differently and more thoroughly than a motel room where someone just spends a few hours sleeping there.

Old rooms I can handle. Dirt and insecure rooms not so much
