What an amazing little hotel.  Very well kept up with and the owner, Nick, took such wonderful care of us.  There was ample parking for motorcycles, our trailer etc.  There were two restaurants and a bar within walking distance too.  The bar was closed due to CV19, but the restaurants took great care of us.  

Birthday weekend in Bandera

cool place to stop in and see. So much to see in this little town. Great for motorcycle riding through this area of Texas. Middle of so many hills, valleys and scenery. Shopping in this little town, nice restaurants too

I haven't stayed a night here however I have friend who works here. He invited me out to see the upgrades to the rooms and work they have done to renovate. I had always heard it wasn't a great place to book stay. Now, the pool is clear and clean with New pool patio furniture , the rooms have upgrades and are super clean. The housekeeping is committed to making every aspect to a night stay is the way you expect it. I met the owner and he is there daily working to make every possible effort to a great stay for the guests. I would recommend a stay . 

Attention to renovating 

All of the rooms have recently been renovated - new carpet, paint, beds, bathrooms, and air conditioning.  All rooms are non-smoking, which is a big plus for me.  The room was very clean.  It was also very quiet.  The staff was very friendly.  I will stay here again the next time I am in Bandera.

It is okay.for Bandera Texas, Somewhat over priced. Has great potential with the restaurant attached,  Price should come a a little and restaurant should have diner food and not attempt to have high end food. The cook and staff needed etiquette training.  

Medium of the road place.

It’s an ok place to stay. We arrived on Labor Day weekend to discover there was some sort of festival going on. We informed them we were not there for the festival but they charged us accordingly none the less. No breakfast; pool was ok until they let some dog in-yuck! Room was clean. It’s ok but not $140 a night ok! 

Just ok!

Bandera Lodge is a old run down hotel. Review said they had remolded that was not true!   The bed Linens were old and then , TV went off and on.  Hair innthe shower ...on the floor.  The air conditioning made awful noise, hot water took forever to get hot.  Completes to the manager did no good.  He moved us to another room it was the same situation.  The manager would not give us a refund. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.  We arrived late in the evening and this is the only hotel. Drive the extra 20 miles to another hotel.

Old Hotel Not recommended

The new management is the most unprofessional and disrespectful of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at.I strongly recommend to find some other place to stay.The manger/owner was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with and has no business running a business anywhere much less the friendly little town on bandera.

Unprofessional

Terrible experience. Arrived to the lodge to check in at 7:10 pm after calling ahead to make certain that arrival at that time would be ok. When we walked up to the office the doors were locked so I called the hotel to see how we could get checked in. Seeming a bit irritated lady stated she would have to get us our keys. After calling back multiple times and talking to her through the door as she said she was working on it we realized after an hour that we were not going to have a place to stay apparently. My husband found a door in the rear of the building that was open so he went in to talk to the lady behind the counter who seemed very confused and completely unable to assist us even look up our information. We then decided it was time to find other accommodations. We will never go back again and certainly do not recommend.
