The accommodations were mixed - some efforts have been made to renovate, but we had an ant infestation in the bedroom and the floors felt dirty under our bare feet. There is no service during your entire stay, which is okay, but the real kicker is that they not only expect you to clean all your dishes, but empty your trash and take it to the dumpster, plus encourage you to strip your beds and tell you how to bundle the linens. I do not expect to do trash duty when I’ve spent over $1500 for 4 nights. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again. Also, I didn’t sleep well at all - bed uncomfortable and pillows very thin.

Meh - give it a pass

The place reminded me of an old style motel/cabins. We stayed in cabin #6 and it was wonderful.  There was a living room/kitchenette, screened porch, bathroom, and a bedroom.  The place was clean and everything worked.  Extremely peaceful.   We could leave the windows open at night as it was very quiet.  Lots of space and grass and a beautiful pond.  Room for people to roam around without disturbing others.  My adult son was able to use the Wifi for his work's morning meetings without too much trouble.  He loved to sit in the screened porch and do his work, as it was peaceful there, and he could shut the door to the noisy cabin.  There are grills and picnic tables outside to use.  We made the living room futon into a bed.  The bedding was in the room with very explicit instructions on how to put the bed together.  Very helpful.  At first the rules and instructions seemed like overkill, but in actuality, it was very easy and understandable  to do the right thing.  I very much appreciated their instructions.
We wanted to stay another day, but our cabin was rented so we moved to a motel room.  It has been recently updated and was beautiful too.  We all agreed that we would absolutely stay here again.  My daughter-in-law told me I did a very good job at finding nice, yet inexpensive places.  
It is a ways from downtown Bar Harbor, but it was an easy and pleasant drive.  Plus downtown was very busy, and we liked our quiet place when we were ready to relax.  The front desk was very cheerful and helpful.  
When you leave you do have to strip your beds, but that's easy and well worth staying there.  

Very pretty and peaceful

We had a very short stay on a cold, rainy night but the cottage was cozy & sweet and stocked well. Wish we had had the opportunity to try out the fireplace and porch. Reservation,  communication and check-in all went smoothly. Convenient location. Hope to stay longer next time!

Short but sweet

The room is newly refurbished, clean, cozy, and adorable. Plenty of room for 3 people. We loved our stay there and the cabin-feel of the decor. All the utilities worked perfectly. Check-in and out was easy and the Lena and the team were kind and easy to work with. Would go back again for sure!

Stay in Room

Eden Village is a charming place to stay where the owners' attention to detail is obvious.  We stayed in a renovated motel room and the little extras made it very nice.  The curved shower curtain rod, the makeup removal cloths, the kitchen setup, etc. were such nice amenities.  It's worth checking out!

Nice place to stay in Bar Harbor

My husband, teenage daughter, our dog and I stayed 3 nights in a pup friendly cottage. We had a great time exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor during the day with our dog and resting up at night in the cottage which was adorable and met our needs.  Thank you for for providing a nice option which was dog friendly too!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Eden Village. The cabin we stayed in was the perfect size for our small family and everything was clean, quiet, and private. Super peaceful days and nights at the property and it's exactly what we were looking for. We cannot wait to return to this location in the future. Maybe even for a longer stay.

Perfect getaway!

Needs a face lift. Bed uncomfortable shower head awful room is very crowded for the cost it’s way out of line to expensive not close to anything just not a good deal. Wish I could have read truthful reviews before booking. Only reason one star I had to give to post.

Run don’t walk

The accommodations were fine. .. but I have never been required to strip the beds, put used towels in a laundry bag and wash dishes... which I did not do... two coffee cups, and take out the trash.., I can stay home and do all of that.  A very small bag of ice was provided but if you need more you pay for it.  Motels rooms were upward of 230.  per night.. I expect free ice!

No frills

If you are looking for a great affordable option to stay with kids Eden Motel and cottages is perfect. We stayed in Room 25 in the motel and it was perfect for us and our two adult size teenagers that need their  space. The motel rooms get plenty of sunlight as the back wall windows open up to a huge open field and back porch area with lounge chairs or a picnic table and then there are two grills there for your use. We like to eat breakfast in and pack lunches, as well as save money with a couple of dinners in and their kitchenette had everything we needed for all this and more. Lena and staff we friendly and so accommodating whenever we needed anything. Very close to Acadia and perfect location to sightsee other locations as well. We highly recommend taking the drive to Schoodic Peninsula - less crowds and great views of Bar Harbor and coastline. Would def stay again and hope to be back to Acadia sometime in the future. Thank you!!
