Booked this hotel because of the price. Was there for 10 minutes before we left. Once walking into our room it smelled. Walked into the bathroom and there were roaches everywhere. Opened the refrigerator door and roach droppings were scattered inside. Plus cigarette burns on the sheets. Immediately just checked out and drove to another hotel even loosing my money for the night. 

Find somewhere else to stay

The room was incredibly dirty. All the towels and sheets had stains on them. The floor was sticky. TV didn't work. Also in a sketchy area - I felt unsafe the entire night. I would recommend avoiding at all costs.

America's Worst Value Inn

The room was ok but not clean. There were roach bugs everywhere.  On the nightstand there was a cigarette all ash! No wifi! Room smelled like an ashtray. We ended up sleeping 2 hours and left. On the sidewalk right outside the door was enough ants it actually looked like a stain. We will never stay here again

Bugs galore

Really old property. Don't know how it is still in business. Used as a shortcut pathway by locals...unsavory looking types. Stay elsewhere. You get what you pay for. This is not "NEW" at all. Has sections of property closed down.

Old Property

I am a motel/hotel historian, and this one is quite interesting.  Many don't realize that this property was the 2nd motel in the original Days Inn chain.  Even more interesting is that at this time, circa 1970, their architectural concept was "colonial".  And you can definitely see that here.  Days Inn of course evolved through the 70's, and the "colonial" style, while used at other locations, was eventually phased out.  I know most that read these reviews don't really care about this stuff, but I find it interesting.

This is actually a historic property!

This was a terrific buy for the money .  It is an old mote( 60 years) it looks like it's been doing some basic remodeling. the mattress was good the sheets were clean the rugs were new, refrigerator and microwave as well as a flat screen tv.  The shower was strong and the tub resurfaced. The place was newly painted very basic .  This motel is very doable if you looking for nothing more than a good night sleep in a ckean quiet place close to the highway. With tax the price was $45. Gladys at the front desk was delightful and very helpful.  She had really good coffee all ready in the office for early morning risers. We will definitely stay there again.  FYI .....I can verify that both rooms 122 and 123 are good choices.

Perfect travel motel

When I'm traveling for business I'm always looking for a good inexpensive hotel.  Well, New Forsyth Inn is just that.  At $45 a night (that includes tax) it's a bargain.  My room looked like it belongs in a hotel charging much more.  My room included a new flat screen TV, new carpet, a new very quiet digital AC, a microwave, and a fridge.  And the wifi is faster than most hotels I stay at.  The only thing that keeps this from being a $100 a night room is that the bathroom fixtures are a little dated.  It's an older hotel that the on site owners are renovating.  I couldn't be more impressed.  This will always be my destination when I'm in the Forsyth area.

Great Stay for the Money

On a road trip to Florida, Forsyth, Georgia seemed a good place to shut down for the night -- about an hour south of Atlanta. So I wasn't there for the local attractions or looking for luxury. All I wanted to do is to sleep, then get back up and drive to Tampa.

It served its purpose. No breakfast. But in and out the door for less than 50 bucks -- tax and all.

This is probably a very old Holiday Inn, though it's difficult to say. The room was dirty in places and the carpet was totally shot. But I was alone, the TV worked and I was gone early.
