The room was very clean and nice. We had the two rooms and it worked out very nice for me and a couple of friends. Everything was clean and the bathroom was very nice. Would 100% stay here again compared to staying in aspen where the hotels and rooms are a million dollars.

Best place to stay outside of aspen.

Delighted with my stay at Basalt Mountain Inn! The newly remodeled rooms provided a fresh, modern feel, perfectly complementing the charming surroundings of Basalt. Its prime location offered easy access to local dining and shopping, plus scenic riverside walks. The room, equipped with a handy kitchenette, was a cozy retreat after exploring the area. The staff's warm hospitality made the experience even more pleasant. The free high-speed internet was reliable for my needs, and the complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to each day. Absolutely recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay near Aspen!

Charming Comfort in the Heart of Basalt: A Gem Near Aspen

Reasonably priced, very clean and efficient no-frills accommodations. Easy access to dining and shopping, 10 minutes to free park and ride accessing all ski areas. Professional and courteous staff, definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay

I would give it an overall rating of 4.5.
The 2 bedroom condo we booked is very spacious and quiet.  The furnitures were a bit too old and some of the hardware need a better maintenance. However with the price we paid in the middle of the peak ski season,  I am very pleased with the stay.

Very nice inn with great value

We spent one night at the Basalt Mountain Inn and it was the perfect location for the hiking we had planned for the following day. It is within walking distance of everything in town including the gorgeous river path and suspension bridge. Our room was simple, but clean. Breakfast included yogurt, fruit, and waffles, perfect pre-hiking meal.

Ideal Location

Love the value! Quick drive to Aspen for snowboarding without Aspen prices! The room was perfect for my entire family with a queen-size pullout couch. The included hot breakfast made it really easy to get a bite and hit the slopes!

Great Value for Great Experience

This is a lovely inn close to Aspen area ski slopes and miles and miles of beautiful hiking and biking trails. Basic rooms with a kitchenette and morning breakfast included.Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely Inn in a sweet Colorado town

Myself and 3 of my coworkers stayed at this establishment a couple of weeks ago. Max and his manager Thomas were great to deal with. The rooms were clean and affordable and I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to anyone I know. Great people in Basalt and we had a great time. Co-workers all enjoyed their stay as well.

Great Experience

Driving thru Colorado, I found the beautiful little town of Basalt, Colorado.  It did not take long to enter this robust walking town, with restaurants and stores galore.  It wasn't until I bumped into the Basalt Mountain Inn when I knew I had found Eureka!

Nestled on the west end of town, The Basalt Mountain Inn looked picture perfect.  Entering the rooms, I felt right at home—beautiful rooms or various sizes to accommodate any family.  The Front Desk team is Warm and Welcoming.  A delightful surprise.

Breakfast begins at 7 am, and it is filled with so many items, everyone will easily find something enjoyable to eat.  

The Basalt Mountain is my new Go-To Place.  I had a great time, and I can't wait to return.  

Make your reservations quick... This place fills up quickly.  Oh, and while you are there, say Hi to Thomas, the General Manager.  He is always eager to be of service, and his team is just incredible!

BASALT MOUNTAIN INN - "The Jewel of Basalt, Colorado."

this place exceeded my expectations by plenty. it was spotless clean and the linens were clean and fresh!! the room was 5 star clean. the best part is that it dosent cost 5 star expensive. the folks were fantastic in the office and i got the best advice on location and tactics to use for fishing from the manager( i wish i could remember his name). its also right in town with restaurants and shops easily within walking distance!!  try this hotel and you will not regret it!!
