From the moment I entered the property I knew I made a mistake. The front desk girl that checked me in was shall we say abrasive. She was short and unwelcoming. Push papers across at me and told me to sign.
The elevator is shifty and gave me pause. The hallways are a disaster area. Looks as if they took the standard LaQuinta carpet and wall colors, slapped them down and called it day. The walls were scratched to the extreme, poorly lit; all bad.
As for the room, where to start. The chair had stains on the seat and what appeared to be maybe chocolate on the arm rests.
The paint on the walls is scratched and thin. Looking like one poor coat of cheap paint. The corners and edges were cracked and open.
The bathroom had cracked and stained sheetrock. The handle in the tub was broken off. The exposed nut was the only way to open the valve. The paint was sloppy and didn't even cover the wall behind the toilet.
Will NOT be returning.
To the person responding to these complaints. Don't bother, your apologies are empty and without merit.
Update, “Mike” Patel did not return my phone call or make any effort to address my complaint. On to trip advisor for my next post.

Stay elsewhere 

Location is conveniently close to I-10. Hotel is run down and dirty. Musty smell throughout the lobby and hallways and into the room.
This facility clearly needs an overhaul. No breakfast, despite advertising for it on their site. I would not recommend.

Not Recommended

Book and pay and come in front and find the transans. For some reason it's closed and they're still accepting bookings. No one who warns you of the surprise finds it when you're in front of it! Or they're thieves or the website keeper should change jobs. Never again with this chain!

Of course, given the quality/price ratio, the negative reviews remain very relative. The hotel as a whole seems to have been abandoned due to proper maintenance. The only positive points: the staff did their best to compensate for everything else and the bed was comfortable, while the cleanliness of the room remains suspicious. Official photos published on the various booking sites are far from the sad reality.

Unpleasantly surprised...

We arrived after booking our room a month in advance to a closed down hotel. No notification that the hotel was closed until security told us to go away. We were told to contqcr the number on the door. After tryibg to get someone to help us for over 3 hours, we were hung up on

Absolutely Ridiculous Closed Down

Between the exterior lighting flashing and the police pulling up you can get no sleep.   That is if you can get in your room.  I was given a key drove to the back to my room, key didn't work.  Drove back to the front to get a new key, still didn't work.  Come to find out my room is on a notepad of rooms that has dead doors.  Get a new room and that room doesnt work either.  The manager had to walk me to my room and use their key to get me in.  

No Sleep

Cheap for a reason, cheap for a reason, cheap for a reason, if your looking for a cheap place to sleep on a long road trip and don’t care about cleanliness, this is the place to stay, by the way cell phone service is sketchy!

The overall visit was pretty unmemorable, neither bad nor good. Felt more like a roadside motel than a hotel. Staff won’t interact with you more than they have to. Room was clean except for this sticky residue we found on the tv remote and hairdryer. Rooms are stocked with the basics, including a microwave and mini fridge, which I can appreciate since I’m traveling with my diabetic dad. Admittedly, the waffle iron in the kitchen is pretty instagram-able 

The Details

room/property need updates.  Poorly kept, not being well-maintained at all.  Staff need to respond appropriately when request made to replace towels without asking for soiled ones when room service is being passed on.

Stayed here after an LSU game. Property is not up to Wyndham property standards but it's safe and a place to stay. Rooms are large bathroom is TINY. You can pee and shower at the same time. 
Set expectations low and you wont be disappointed. 
Staff was friendly. We didnt eat breakfast.
