We had a very good night's stay at this hotel. The property is dated, but very clean. The sheets and bed spread looked like they were brand new. The TV stand and night stand were older but in good condition. The bathroom could use some updating but, again, it iwas clean and well kept. 
There are plenty of outside outlets for vehicles & boats and lots of parking space.
Breakfast was normal for a hotel like this. There were assorted cereals, juices, yogurts, and baked giids. The kitchen and eating area were very clean.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
I would definitely stay again.

One night stay

Hotel was clean and quite.  Sherri at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Had a descent breakfast bar and offered soup in late afternoon. The staff kept hotel clean throughout the day. We would stay here again .

Walleye Inn

Sherri was amazing at check in! She went above and beyond, and was very friendly and courteous. I am in town for business and I will definitely stay here again. Great location and value. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and especially the bathroom are very clean.

Business Stay

Thomas was an excellent employee, he went above and beyond. He did a great job checking us in. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. They offer free soup in the evening. The soup was a nice surprise!

We stayed at The Walleye Inn for a Peewee Hockey district tournament. Thomas was working the front desk and he was very helpful. He is a great asset to the hotel. The breakfast and soup provided in the evening are great!

Hockey Weekend

Rooms are clean but very basic. The smell of smoke is strong. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Thomas at the front desk was super helpful and welcoming. We stayed here with our team for a hockey district tournament and had a good experience.

Decent, basic

We stayed one night for an ice fishing trip. The hotel wasnt fancy but had everything we needed. Thomas did a great job, went above and beyond to make sure we were set for an early morning launch. Would recommend!

Great stay, felt at home

My mom and I went for a one night stay. I have a service dog and they did okay. The man at the counter wanted to place us in a pet friendly room but we declined. He asked if my service dog shed, she does not and it seemed that was what made it okay for us to go un the room we had originally booked. It makes me a bit uncomfortable to think if my service dog did shed, they might have discriminated against me.

Other than that, the shower had some odd dips in the bottom which made water pool and the water was slow to drain. I have some textural issues and can't stand standing in water but I doubt that's only me.

Other than that, the room was clean. It came with a refrigerator and a microwave. The morning breakfast was nice but nothing to go crazy over.

Okay

This hotel is exactly what you would expect for the area and the name. We were greeted and checked in by Sherri G. who was great! The hotel and room were clean and very acceptable. The continental breakfast was adequate.

Exactly what you would expect!

Around 6 in our group had planned to camp.  Due to heavy rain, we decided to stay here instead.  The hotel was able to accomodate us at the last minute.  The room had a mini fridge and microwave.  I was impressed by th evariety of cable TV channels offered.  The had a number of stations I have not seen available elsewhere. including Comet, Cozi, and The Blaze.  Breakfast was included.  I had to leave early, so I am not sure what the breakfast includes.  The motel is on the west side of town.  Do not clean fish in your room.
