We go back and forth across the country every year, and just want someplace to sleep, no frills, and a good price.  Baxter Inn had all that, as well as a comfortable bed, micro and fridge, and the sense that the place was well-maintained.  Paul, the manager, was polite and professional, and unlike many of this level of motel, there was a very modest continental breakfast provided.  Met all our requirements.

Clean, safe, reasonably priced.

Clean, easy to access, friendly and helpful management. Light breakfast supplied. Ample free parking, even for larger vehicles.

Good place to stay on Route 66

Stopped by for a night on our Route 66 trip and had a pleasant stay. A basic Hotel but it had all that was needed to have a good nights sleep. Very helpful and pleasant Manager who went out of his way to assist.

Comfortable and adequate.

This hotel is the only one in town, but is a good place to stay. Pleasant desk staff.  Comfortable bed. Good clean room. Plenty of parking and all rooms are interior. Bathroom and shower were good. The limited continental breakfast of  bananas and packaged muffins was adequate. Good cafe's in the area.

The location is near the Casino. Also is very near the interstate. It is not that far from my property but is a nice stay. The room condition was good has flat screen tv, good size micro oven,fridge and telephone.we had good breakfast in the morning.Lobby was pretty good size.we like recommend all when you are traveling route 66 or high way 69 please stay this motel and enjoy you stay.

HOTEL IS OK.

We stayed one night here. The hotel was clean and stay was okay. Our room was located right inside the door that everyone walked in and out so there was a lot of noise from that. To make the noise matter worse, the ice machine was directly across from our door. Si every time someone needed ice, we knew heard it. There were a couple items offered for breakfast-but we chose to eat somewhere else.

Only hotel in town

The hotel was fine, but I'm traveling Rte 66 and was hoping for something with some character, which I thought I'd get, since I found this one on a 66 site. The room was spacious, neat, clean, comfortable, and the bed was fine, but as I say above, boring. it could have been any chain with no sense of history.

Boring, but clean

What a nasty place! The bathroom floor was so sticky, you actually got stuck. The phone is probably 50 years old, the bed had so many stains from literally everything that I was just speechless. Worst of all was this nasty smell EVERYWHERE. The entire building had such an incredibly bad smell and worse, the room also but a different bad smell. Given that, I don't want to know how "clean" this place is because you can't escape this smell and apparently no one is bothered by it. Please go somewhere else and have a better place than this hotel.

Disgusting place, stay away!

DO NOT STAY IN THIS MOTEL. It is so dirty!
Room has hundreds of cigarette burns on the floor and on the bed cover, Blood under the bed sheets,toilet bowl was full of mold that we had to hover to pee! It was thick black mold! THe whole place smelt once you passed the main entrance. I wore shoes the entire time we were there. There were splatters of unknown original all over the walls.we could not wait to leave the next morning we skipped breakfast as we wernt sure if or how it was prepared considering the awful state of the rooms. . Do yourselves a favour and drive past this roach infested motel..
