This was a wonderful spot we were there for a wedding that booked out the whole hotel. Americana At is best, the Inn Keeper was amazing and made us feel very welcome.
The room was very large and room to spread out and relax as it had a seating room with it we watched the plans land and drive up the Main Street and park and come into the hotel to eat lunch. Food was great homemade and very large portions.

Awesome stay!!!
I came here with my kids and a friend and her kids during spring break. We had the whole hotel to ourselves which made exploring for ghost wonderful. I can’t say enough about our stay.....it was everything and more than we expected! We were not disappointed in our ghost hunting and had lots of good experiences to share with others. The owner is very wonderful. The restaurant was not open yet for the season and she made sure we had breakfast and snacks available to us. She even gave us history on the hotels and it’s ghosts. The town has a lot of history to explore as well and my kids liked the fact that it was so accessible from the hotel. They do have a pond you can go fish in so make sure to bring your poles. The beds and rooms are great as well! If you come as a family I suggest rooms 201 and 202. They have separate bedrooms and living areas. I slept great on our bed. Everything is very clean. I liked the fact as well my kids had their own TV to watch in their room of our hotel room. Please tell Elizabeth hi for me on your stay. She was in our room in 201. You will love your stay!

Awesome stay!!!

I’ve heard other pilots speak fondly of the Beaumont Hotel, so it’s been on my wish list for many years.  We finally got to experience it firsthand as a family. Jeanne and Kim treated us like old friends.  Our kids loved sitting at the counter for breakfast.  The prime rib on Saturday night was delicious!  The hotel had a great view of parked aircraft and the old railroad stop complete with a wooden water tower.  What a great experience!

Fly in for a visit - Make some memories!

Great place to stay. Clean rooms and great food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Thanks Jeanne and Kim for your great service! We will see you again soon!!!!

We enjoy staying at the Beaumont. It's clean, easy, convenient, and just what we need. So this is my business travel report--We have cattle in the Flint Hills and it's been great to stay so close to our cattle when we are in Kansas. Reservations are easy; it hasn't mattered what time we get there or leave, and we always get a good night's rest. Now for the fun part of the review--people really do land their planes there during the day and taxi closer to the Beaumont. If you stay there on a Friday night, get a room on the south. You can watch the planes from your window. People fly there for Saturday morning breakfast. And that's another story--their little cafe is great!! Over the years, we've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And all of those options are great. I think the cafe is only open now on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Double check those dates. If you want  a luxurious place to stay, I don't think this is it. If you want clean, friendly, comfortable; then I think you'd enjoy staying at the Beaumont.

Great stay and unique history

Found the Beaumont while looking for a stopping point between wichita and far southeast Kansas.  Historical hotel with a unique story.  Stayed one night but will love to come back for another stay.  No one there to check us in at first arrival but we were able to get our keys fairly quickly from the cafe which is attached to the hotel.  We did not get the room we selected which was disappointing but the put us in what I'm guessing is the nicest room in the hotel.  Huge room with a seperate living area and then a drop down sitting area that looks out over the area the planes park after coming in for a stay or to eat.  Frisco water tower across the street along with the depot and a walking trail with signs with historical information.  Super quiet rooms with comfortable beds.  Price is a bit high but you know what your paying when you book the room so no big deal.  If you are looking for a relaxing/unique stay I would highly recommmend.  The cafe which is attached was wonderful as well.  We ate dinner after checking in and it was amazing.  Also ate breakfast the next morning which was just as good.  Very personable employees that gave great service and answered our questions about the hotel and local area.  If you don't have time to stay at least stop for the cafe.  They have different events from time to time such as bike runs and fly ins along with street dances.  Will try to make it back for some other events.  It was fly in saturday for our stay.  Neat to see  all the planes. 

Great stay!!

A hidden gem that is definitely worth the visit. We spent the night on Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a great way to end our vacation. Service was great on Saturday and Sunday. Very friendly employees. Our room couldn't be more comfortable, and it was super quiet despite the Kansas wind. Bed was very comfy and so we're the towels. It was nice to be able to to see the other rooms which weren't occupied. My husband says the ghost must like us because we had no interaction with them. The food was delicious! We enjoyed supper and stayed for their Sunday buffet. The best fried chicken ever! 

A hidden gem in Kansaa

Rm 204. Friendly folks and a nice litle cafe. But ... king bed is pretty uncomfortable and towels very scratchy. Takes a long, long time to get luke warm water in shower. Fly in location in the Flint Hills

Manageable for one night

Went on a motorcycle ride to Beaumont to go eat at the hotel cafe for a day away! Love this historic Hotel and cafe, lots of history to learn about and see and of course the great food served at the cafe! They had a fried chicken buffet today with all the fixings along with a small salad bar. The food was great and so was the service. After eating we looked at all the signs, historic pictures and articles on the walls. A short walk across the street and there is the old water tower, train caboose and train depot, and a 1949 Beechcraft QueenAir with a jaded past as well as a short hiking trail with info on things that happened in years past. Motorcycle enthusiasts gather every 3rd sunday and there are also airplane fly-ins (check dates). Out next venture here will be time stay at the hotel next! Check the hours as they are open at different hours/days. 

Motorcycle ride back to the past

We went for the second Saturday fly-in arriving Friday afternoon.  The room was clean, air worked great, lots of friendly staff, shady spots to sit outside and watch planes.  food was good with large portions.  they had several options for desserts but we were too full to sample, even with sharing a meal
