This hotel reeks of smoke smell, has bugs, its not family friendly at all, and had horrible service while checking in I will never waste my money here again don’t let the pictures fool you. After i found my 6 year old playing with a roach next to the ac unit and we had to leave 

Avoid

The only thing grand about this hotel is the name.  Quick history- built in 1978 as a Sheraton Motor Hotel (predessor to the 4 points by Sheraton).  Fast forward 4 decades and many ownership changes it is an independent old hotel, and well past its glory days.  Check in was okay and pleasant.  No breakfast served that I am aware of.  Room big enough but really run down.  If you want a low priced hotel close but not on the highway it will do the job.  Just know it is at best a low budget motel.  The furnishing are decent but the building and structure are old and it shows.  

Bottom line, I expected budget, paid budget, got budget.  Generally felt safe.  If you just want a bed and shower, it will do.

Cheap but not Grand 

Worst night "sleep" of my life. The moment we walked off the elevator we were overwhelmed with the stench of poop. Yes, POOP! When we found our room the door was covered with roaches. When we flicked on the light they scattered. I wanted to leave right then but our fee was non refundable. I figured I only needed to get a shower and some rest because we'd be hitting the road first thing in the morning. But I only got 3 hours sleep because I kept getting woken up by bugs crawling on me. I've never been more grossed out by a hotel room. There were cigarette burns in the beds, the room smelled like body odor, urine and something dead. The pool water was black! I paid $70 for this room and I think I left with lice.

Don't pay in advance!

We stayed with this company during the hurricane when we lost our home. Larry Granger was the most polite employee you had at the time. Your new crew that check us in tonight we're rude & very unpersonal, as her non- working friend set beside her at the front desk. This is the ONLY hotel we use as we travel that doesn't allow people in the side door with their things after 8:00. Ridiculous! Paying customers should have access to their rooms at ANY time with a key. They never have a 1st floor room available for check in after your so called cleaning crew leave. Who apparently leave before their task is finished. This will be the last time, we stay here unless positive changes are made. If I wasn't tired, I would get my money back & go elsewhere. You need great improvement in your staff & quality of your company. Best Wishes Leslea Kelley.

Disappointing

My room was great- clean it had all I needed water to shower, a nice bed to sleep in and breakfast wasn't a 7 course but it was good. Pete checked me in and was very friendly and explained all the rules..Over all was a good stay and I will be coming back for sure..

Good place to stay when you have NO place to stay

I've stayed in forty hotels in 7 states in the last two months. This was easily the worst. The hotel is tired, uncared for and poorly maintained - broken elevators, torn upholstery, non-functioning wifi, barely watchable TV and unwelcoming signage ("Breakfast must be ate in the dining room" and "Anyone caught propping doors open will be evicted"). That lack of care was reflected perfectly in the receptionist (Lawrence) who should sue whichever charm school he attended. When I asked him if the broken wifi was likely to be fixed (I had onward travel plans to make) he dismissed my complaint by saying that the wifi was 'free' so I had no grounds for griping. When I suggested that he might try to refer the matter upwards or contact an engineer he became agitated and rude. The irony was, I think he got angry because I'd interrupted his browsing session on his own phone. I gave up arguing with him after he leaned over the desk and barked that I should stop 'pushing' him. I genuinely feared he might fly into a rage. In the end, I made a 10 mile round trip to Starbucks to make my arrangements. Unless you like being made to feel uneasy and unwelcome, stay elsewhere.

Do Not Stay Here

If you or staying one night might be ok. I was put into a smoking room after I had requested a non smoking room. I  had even made the reservation as no smoking two weeks in advanced. The front desk  clerk was not very friendly and helpful. If I stayed one extra night I could have gotten a cheaper rate. The room was on the 4th floor and the indoor hallways where hot due to no air conditioning.  My room the paint was peering from the ceiling, the furniture had burn marks, the bed sheets and covers had burn marks. Their was only one working ice machine for the whole hotel. On my 2nd day there I had a hotel employee that was taking out the trash, was asking me for a cigarette when I said that I don't smoke he asked me for money.  It may have been a nice hotel at one time, but the owners don't keep the hotel up and is falling into disrepair. If you are staying in Beaumont and want to stay in that area, try the Days Inn or Economy lodge down the street. 

Cheap Horrible Hotel!

Yes the motel is a bit outdated, the room could have done with a good spruce up, but for the price it was ok, the bed was alright, no bed bugs noticed, the breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful to us in the matter of my husbands bag that was lost between LAX and Houston, overall a positive experience
