So I decided to run from the Central Texas heat (107 F).  I headed south toward the Gulf of Mexico (88 F.).  I wound up driving through Beeville Tx. on the way to N. Padre Island.   A nice little town that I decided to explore..  I checked into a Studio 6 (higher class motel 6).  I was going to stay one night but enjoyed the stay so much that I stayed 3.  Extremely nice large room with a king size bed, firm but comfortable, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.  The room was squeaky clean with all of the amenities.  Bob the manager could not have been nicer or more helpful to this disabled Vet.  Bob’s wife Anita assists with the daily chores.  Then you have Shannon.  She is the housekeeper and Jack of all trades.  An unbelievable workhorse this lady is.  Shannon is as nice as can be and always helpful.  This lady has the most beautiful smile and disposition to match.  The area and town has some excellent restaurants.  If you like German food, the Gashaus can’t be beat, anywhere.  The town is surrounded by a lot of cattle and horse ranches (the real cowboys are here).  Rooms are well under $100.00.  I paid $80 something a night.  Do yourself a favor if you are in the area or take a trip and want experience how America use to be.  Tell Bob or Shannon that Captain Larry sent ya.

Outstanding

I stayed at Studio 6 with a relative and she was in accessible room but you had to walk from the ADA parking spot in front of the office all the way to the designated room (which was a few yards away). We couldn't park in front of the room because of the concrete curb in the front. The room was accessible and the bathroom was spacious.The kitchenette was nice. The microwave was a little too high to reach. I use a wheelchair, so I had to stand up and reach in order to put my food in it. The beds were nice and comfortable. I slept really well. Continental breakfast was good. It could have been better if they had eggs and real orange juice. I loved the waffles.

Parking Lot Needs to Be Redesigned to Accomodate for ADA

Made a reservation through THEIR reservation system a week in advance, just to have them call us and tell us they could not honor our reservation, that they had overbooked. And then the front desk lady laughed and said that they had already had to call a bunch of other people and cancel them!

stayed with my husband for a month due to work. The monthly rate was awesomely affordable. It offered kitchenettes which was excellent when staying for a month the staff was awesome and always ready to help. The rooms were nice and very clean it was a very comfortable stay.  I will be returning when we get transferred back this way 

Month long stay

This is my 2nd home I run to because the ladies that manage the place keep the place clean an go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. I know  that it may not be a 5 star hotel but at least I know when I get into my room the room is clean and they like it quiet as well as I do.

NIce and quiet place to think

Great staff and service. The location is great and it's location meets Highway 59 and highway 181. There's a gas station nearby and a burger place call Sammy's. It got wi-fi for my line of work and it's a great price.

Great spot and location

The room was clean but smelled faintly of fresh paint. The description we were using said there was a continental breakfast and a 24 hour main desk. Saturday morning when we really needed the breakfast the lobby did not open until 9AM. They have very limited desk hours. There was free WIFI and they were amenable to a late check out. Ground floor was requested at check in but we were told all of the ground floor rooms were under renovation.
