I read the reviews before we stayed here & noticed there weren't too many recent reviews so I wanted to write one.  Stayed for one night while visiting my son who attends Penn State.  It's around a 15 minute ride.  The room was perfect.  It was clean and looks like it was recently updated.  It was quiet as far as noise in the area.  The refrigerator was a bit noisy but we slept well enough.  I felt it was a great value for the money.  Would definitely stay here again.  Interesting layout with the hotel being one room wide and having windows at both ends of the room.  We had a room on the upper level.

Pleasantly surprised

I have stayed here several times in the past two months as I am working in Bellefonte. This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you with anything you need. When I open the door to the room I breathe in some of the cleanest air I have ever breathed. The floors are newer there is fresh paint and the bathroom was renovated probably in the last six months. It is immaculate for the price. If I am working anywhere in the area there is no doubt about where I will stay. I have no cons about this place. 

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. You would not regret staying here even if you wanted to!

Never again would I book a stay here or recommend it to anyone! Absolutely disgusting! Our mistake for booking a smoking room, but holes in the sheets, stained sheets and pillows just gross! They should be ashamed of themselves!

Disgusting

Nice place for an efficient in expensive stay. Always friendly and helpful. I recommend this location for an easy overnight stay. Convenient to state college and the highway.

Business trip.

My wife and I always stay here when we come to visit my daughter’s family for a few days. The owners are super friendly and always willing to help with any need. It is quite affordable. The furnishings are newer and the beds are comfortable.

Absolutely a wonderful stay! This is actually the second time I stayed here.

The service is great and the staff is extremely courteous.

When I thought they were not open I asked a local friend and he confirmed they were and got me their number

The last time I Stayed here was about three years ago and was a spur if the moment stay.

Excited to Stay here Again

We were looking for an easy, inexpensive place to stay Thanksgiving evening. Pleasant manager. Comfortable bed. Granite bathroom with pleasant shower. Everything a high class place offers: nice refrigerator, big TV, desk, ice etc. and core such a great rate. Perfect location near Bellefonte and I-99!

Surprisingly great

Ive stayed here multiple  times and will be staying again. The place is clean, they staff is friendly, and its in a convenient  pace. Rooms are a nice size. All the rooms i stayed have mini or dorm sized refrigerators and some have microwaves. Over all a nice place.

A lovely and friendly place to stay

Check in was easy and friendly.  This wasn’t my first choice but all the State College hotels were very over priced.  The place is rather old but clean and quite.  Only packaged pastries for breakfast and no juice.

PA Travel

Nicely renovated room,
Well cared for & clean. 
Great bathroom with granite shower & vanity area.
As stated in one of the reviews, flushing the toilet can scare u if not prepared because it has a power flush unit in the tank to keep the lines free.

We purchased off Priceline.com after traveling all day...we were pleasantly surprised. U won't be disappointed staying there. The owners are friendly & care  about the comfort of travelers. Keep up the good work! 

We will definitely stay their again when traveling from Vermont to Florida.
