We were a little nervous when we pulled up to the property because it looked a little run down.  But give this place a chance- the newly renovated rooms are excellent. It was appointed like a much more expensive hotel.  The staff was also very friendly.  We would stay here again if we ever pass through Big Spring again. 😊

Pleasantly surprised

The check in was quick and the clerk was nice, the room was clean and bed comfortable. We will stay again next time we are in the area. The only downside was the floor in the room was slick and I fell in the middle of the night. 

The price was right and the stay was comfortable

the paper with price that was email to me should match what they charge my card.. i use a company card to pay for this room and now i got to answer to my comany why the paper don't match the charge on the card

The whole reason I booked this hotel was because the website said it had an indoor pool and an outdoor (seasonal) pool.  Upon check in we discovered they have no indoor pool and the outdoor one is not operational (understandable being March).  When I tried to get my money back because of false advertisement the manager refused.  She was also on the rude side.  

Don’t go by the amenities on the website.  

Toilet clogged and had trouble flushing.  Double charged for first stay and gave me the " run around". Second stay, the room smelled of urine. There was no shampoo in either room, just extra bottles of conditioner instead.

Work trip

We were traveling from West Texas to Kerrville and had planned on sleeping in our truck. We made a call to Days Inn as we were driving out of Big Springs to check availability and price. Turned out to the best choice ever. Days Inn in Big Spings has the CLEANEST room ever! And price was affordable since I'm a military veteran. THANK YOU Days Inn for best stay ever!

One Night, One Stop

Customer Service poor.  Motorist stranded without phone service or towing services for 12 + hours. Towing not operating due to the hazardous conditions.  After flagging down a motorist to get cell service to contact the hotel to let them know  I was stranded on the highway, Customer service rep had no interest of safety of their patrons and the serious weather only charging the credit card and hung up the phone.

Poor Customer Service

The room was very nice.  But the facility is old and run down a bit on the exterior.  This is an old school type motel with rooms right off the parking lot.  Our room had no weather stripping which resulted in a cold draft and noise from the cars right outside our door.  Cost was high for what we got.

Newly remodeled interior but not exterior

Rooms have been updated.  Bed very comfortable.  Exterior kind of rough.  A lot of big work trucks in the parking lot.  Surely accommodating the oil and gas workers in the area.  Exterior has not been updated.

If it wasn't so late we'd have gone somewhere else. The carpet was terrible and smelled bad. We stayed and left asap.  The desk clerk was nice and probably unaware. The area near the office was kept up but further areas were stained. Just lesson learned....
