The room I stayed in looked nothing like the pictures on line.  Firstly, the room was not clean, something toted on their advertising billboards.  There was hair on the bathroom floor, dental floss by the bed and the walls and baseboards could surely use a good scrubbing.  When I woke my first morning there, there were tiny ants all over the floor coming out from the vinyl plank flooring.  When I complained to management, the response was that this was a common problem in the mountains with all  hotels.  They sprayed the room while I was out and I did not see anymore during the remaining three days.  My bathroom window was cracked and the moldings around the doors were banged up and needed paint.  Also, I'm not sure the rationale for the outside painting, a combination of neon green, blue, and violet, because it sure looked like someone had been tripping!  On the plus side, Jason, the manager was very nice and was responsive, the linens were soft, and the outside courtyard area with the big trees and tables and chairs was nice.  Oh, and there was a goat farm across the road.

Tired, Tired, Tired!

Don't Book! Was under roof repair and had debris all over.We had booked in advance, but what we were offered looked nothing like photographs.We went elsewhere.Said they would refund, but didn't. Now we have to go through the credit card fiasco to get the charge removed. Take heed!

No... No... No.  Find another place in Bishop! Our worst motel experience.

Upon arrival I was concerned as the A/C unit in the tiny office area was filthy. Thankfully, the Queen room appeared cleaner than the office but I couldn't get that image out of my head. The pictures I took make the room appear nicer than it felt. There was just a dark, dingy feel to the space. I kept my flip flops on walking on the floor in the room and in the shower. Thankfully I didn't pay more than 109 for this room. That seems fair but I would have been disappointed had i paid more. There is a very tiny parking lot with no pull through. Walls are thin as I could hear the fellow next door snoring. The bed and bedding are the highlight as it is very firm and comfortable with super soft sheets. I did feel safe on this quiet side street a few blocks from Main St.

Older hotel in quiet neighborhood

This was a nice, quiet, older place, neat and clean.  Remodeled and upgraded and comfortable, dog friendly with a nice little yard to take the dog.  The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.  This is the second time I’ve stayed here and will again.

Pleasant, quiet Stay

Stayed here because a friend travelling with us had a dog.  This was the only pet-friendly motel available.  On a busy street.  The rooms are small (15' x 15') and dark.  Not especially clean.  No carpet - our room had a greasy coating on the floor that left a black film on our shoe soles.  You could see our footprints on the floor.  I would only stay here as a last resort.  They should not charge over $100/night, but they do.

Not a Great Motel

Excellent budget accommodations. The room was clean and appliances (AC, TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker) were in good working order. Jason (at the front desk) and the other staff I encountered were friendly and very helpful,

I booked this motel after seeing the description and pictures on the internet. The pictures looked very nice and the kitchen looked good, fairly equipped (refrigerator, stove, etc., basic but usable), so we booked the room. Upon booking we found that the listed price went way up but we booked it anyway. When we checked in we were given a dingy little room that did not look anything like what the motel showed online. The kitchen consisted of a sink, mini refrigerator, and mini microwave, 2 plates,  2 dishes, 2 forks, 2 spoons, and 1 knife. A couple of small pan lids were in the cupboard. There were electrical sockets as if there had been a regular refrigerator and stove which had been removed. The luxury linens on the bed were very old, hardly luxury and mismatched as if they were leftovers. The bathroom seemed to be an after thought with a tiny shower in which you bumped your elbows on the wall, a toilet that was set so that your knees either bumped the sink or had to be tucked under it, and no place to hang the absolute minimum of towels that were left out in the other room. By the bed there was not an end table and lamp on each side as pictured. This room felt like it was added after the fact squeezed into a maintenance closet or something. Plus the room was expensive, $261 for one night, $32 more than what I had already thought I was going to be charged. I won’t ever be back. Management had not explanation or did they offer recourse. I really felt this was a bait and switch situation and will never be back.

Bait and Switch

I would give this place no stars if I could. The room was clean but everything was falling apart. I thought the ceiling fan would fall off when we turned it on. Hooks for towels were broken. Air conditioner was super loud. The worst was the trash piled up outside the room. Never again!

Never Again

I originally was supposed to stay at this motel for three nights.  I was checked in by a very nice fella named Jason, who was kind, friendly and helpful.  We learned quickly that the room I had hoped to book with a full kitchen was unavailable but Jason thought quickly on his feet, and found a room with a full kitchen at their sister motel two blocks away.  In the end, it all worked out rather well.  I'm thankful for Jason's service!

This facility is an older motel on a side road off the Highway 395.  My interactions with the staff was fantastic and they cared for my comfort.  The rooms were dated,but clean and the amenities all worked fine.  The bed was very comfortable and I go two great night's sleep.  The facility, though full, was quiet each night.  The motel had a very comfortable patio area complete with a bar-b-que.  It was a great place for me to prepare my dinners and interact with the other guests.  They did have the county COVID-19 standards in place and did a great job of adhering to them.
