Hotel is off of I-35. Got there early, and turns out they had a room, however the newer employee wasn’t sure how to do an early check in because it had been a long time. That’s fine- I’ve been there. He tried to call his boss for help, however the outside line wasn’t working! He eventually had another employee contact her and she came in to help. During this, I offered to go into town and come back later, but they ended up figuring it out.
Used the lobby’s computer to print out tickets and it was painfully slow. I even had to reboot and it didn’t help much!
Room is on first floor but luckily no floor noise from above. Comfortable bed, TV is DIRECTV so large selection. Water pressure not good.
Typical HIE breakfast. The view outside is a field, showing how rural the area is right outside of the town.
There is a pool but I didn’t use it.

Right off of I-35

Very handy to I-135. Relatively new. Spacious, simple, contemporary rooms. Ok hot breakfast. Quiet if you run the AC fan on Low Continuous. Accommodating staff.
Biggest drawback is they allow pets. I nearly witnessed a dog fight in the lobby. Please people, leave your animals at home.

I stay at many hotels throughout the year. This place is by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve been at in years. First off upon getting into my room I noticed the toilet had not been cleaned, there was feces splattered up the back of the toilet bowl. Secondly I noticed a large yellow/brown stain on the bedding. The fridge was dirty, hairdryer had  a coating of dust on it. Floors around the fridge were disgusting as well. The coffee table was dirty, black mold growing in the shower, the elevator doors looked as though they have never been cleaned. The list goes on…

For a hotel chain that boasts about its cleanliness it sure fails at this place.

Lacks in cleanliness !!!

The customer service was awful our entire stay and every single staff kept making the excuse that they’re short handed. Our room was not fully cleaned, and when we checked in to our 2 bed room we had 1 bath towel, no wash cloths, no bath mat towel, 1 coffee cup. We were concerned that it wasn’t clean. The beds were slapped together it looked slept in it was so wrinkled. Lastly, the breakfast was super small. I was shocked because I never book a hotel with reviews under 4 stars or so but this place should’ve had a 2 star rating honestly.

Lowkey terrible

While in Blackwell, Oklahoma for a Memorial Service  we stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was inviting, large, and comfortable. While breakfast service is altered because of COVID-19 there were still plenty of hot & cold selections. There were only a few minor inconveniences, including - no water or coffee cups in the room, no washcloths, and no lotion provided. We did appreciate the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers. We would not hesitate to stay at the Holiday Inn Express when in the Blackwell area in the future.

Nice Hotel Stay!

All you need to know about this hotel is that pigeons were pooping all over the front entrance and it was being tracked inside. Also, someone that day had walked in dog poop and tracked it into the entrance carpet. Believe me, it wasn't mud. All of this poop was still there the next morning when we checked out except more of it and we had to step around it to get to our car. Our expectation of the room wasn't high after our laborious check-in and we weren't surprised. IHG needs to check this hotel.

Not worthy to be a Holiday Inn Express

Just passing through and this was our stop.  Room was great, big and clean.  Staff was friendly building well taken care of and right next to ice cream place! And conveniently located near other things.  Over all good place to stay!

One night

This hotel is modern, has spacious rooms, nice bedding, and a helpful staff. They even called me the next day to say they found my computer mouse!

The fitness center was clean and everything worked! Also, breakfast was excellent with egg white omelets and turkey sausage in addition to the usual items. 

The biggest drawback is the lack of dining options at this exit, but that's not the fault of the hotel. I ended up getting Subway. But the hotel itself is perfect!

Best hotel in the area

Funny opening for a hotel but it's the honest truth.

Stopped because it was dark and raining.  Got a good rate then tried to fill my car up only 87 octane, no premium gas, stopped by the liquor store no gin.

The hotel located in a noisy area two fast food drive inn restaurants, two 24 hour gas stations and there is a concrete pad poured directly in front on the hotel.  Heard traffic all night, thin sheets, clean and a very odd piece of furniture.

The breakfast cinnamon rolls, eggs, turkey and pork sausage various bread and a broken pancake machine.  A women asked for a microwave but there was not one.

The staff was hard to be found and kitchen person inattentive.

The price was good and the hotel clean.

On the way down I slept at the Holiday Inn in Ponca City.  I would stay there before I would stay in Blackwell.

No premium gas, no gin to be found!

From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we checked out everything about this location was on point.  Beds were extremely comfortable, room was spacious, shower was amazing.  Staff was  phenomenal. Very clean and welcoming.
