Friendly staff, clean sheets and inexpensive. We tried 2 different nonsmoking rooms and they both smelled awful like they sprayed to cover up smoke smell. One even had an ashtray. Would not stay there again.

My experience with the Deerfield inn should have been better than what we were given. I stayed in this establishment for two weeks with my kids. Not once did we go down for breakfast because all the workers ate everything or there was only limited choices such as waffles and cereal. They told us the best time to eat is at 7:30 in the morning. Which is wrong because it should be a good time no matter what time people come down for breakfast. I stayed in one room and it reeked of marijuana. It may be a smoking room where they stayed in, but I shouldn’t have to smell that when I wake up to when I go to bed. I had to buy a room refresher because I couldn’t take it anymore. The laundry room was out of order because the washer was broken. And we had to pay someone to do our laundry. Which was wrong to do so I had to go to a laundromat to do my families laundry. Our toilet was leaking downstairs into the other room under us. The O ring was out of it, and I may be a woman but it’s not hard to replace, it’s more of a five minute fix. But they told me that had to turn off the water in order to fix it. I’m sorry, but I don’t need to leave my room just for something like that. The maintenance man came to look at it and then didn’t want to deal with it until we left. I had to call my husband from work to help me move into another room since I had weeks worth of clothes, kids, and food to move. We then had to go downstairs to get more toilet paper, and the person wasn’t even there, we stayed at the lobby for about 15 minutes until someone came but no one ever did. So we went to the store in hopes that they’d come back. 20 minutes later we come back and she’s finally there. I have worked at a hotel as a front desk representative for 2.5 years and when you leave the desk for how long, you either are written up, given a warning, or fired. It has happened a couple of times for us needing something and she wasn’t there. The first room I stayed in, a kid maybe 8 or 9 maybe older i don’t know, kept opening the door and looking at me. He’d leave the door open and no parent told him to shut it. Either the parent wasn’t there or he was alone or the parent was asleep and they let their child open the door and get away with it. Either way, the child acted like he was paranoid and kept slamming the door every time he went back inside. The morning receptionist lady acts like she doesn’t like her job. If you don’t like your job, then why work there? I had a trash bag outside my door and it was the male housekeeper, who was cleaning rooms and never took the trash. The other housekeepers were very thorough by each room they cleaned, whether it was a stay over or a check out. The male housekeeper only stayed in each room my five minutes or less. Im just disgusted by it all. I’ll never stay here again because people are either rude, or they can’t get their act together. Like I said, if you don’t like your job, why work there? It’s not hard to be a housekeeper or a front desk associate. I’ve done it. But still, you can’t leave the desk because anyone whether they’re cameras or not, people can steal money. I’ve never walked away from the desk at all. No wonder this place is run down. My last day here was horrible. Apparently the owner of this place was coming in two days or something and they were trying to clean everything, even when my do not disturb was on the door, they didn’t care. We were told that the manager is particular and if there were stains on lampshades or anything, they’d kick us out.  The housekeepers were rude because I guess they couldn’t leave at the times they wanted like usual, they are usually gone around 2pm and they were still there because every room had to be spotless. I’m sorry but they won’t be when people stay here for weeks on end. They should have waited till me and my family were gone the next day to try to clean lampshades and everything. It’s invasion of privacy let alone it’s just disrespectful. Idc if the owner was coming or not. I’ve stayed in several hotels for work and the only things they needed fixed, were minor imperfections. Maybe this place should have better housekeepers or better maintenance rather than having me move, and not disturbing my children when they are trying to take a nap. Without warning, the housekeepers took the room phone without stating why. I probably assumed because my kids wouldn’t leave it alone, and my 1 year old was touching it. But at the same time, I tried keeping it away from them. But maybe rather than taking it, give me a warning or tell me you’re taking it and stating why. Management hear is really bad or the workers here are lousy and don’t want to talk to their guests. Next time if I stay I’m Blytheville, it won’t be at this rundown place. Good luck to anyone who stays here because it’s crappy. Owners should have better common courtesy and keep this place looking nice rather than a place that looks run down. I mean the sign, you can’t read what it says they have: like free Wi-Fi or hot breakfast. That’s the first judgement people have when finding a place to stay is the sign or the reviews. If I was the manager here, this place would be better off.

Worst experience of my ENTIRE LIFE!!!

Motel was remotely clean but old. Crunchy carpet and a very old mattress. Sheets were clean front window shade was not wide enough to cover the window. Pillows seemed clean. When I got up in the morning I discovered there was no soap. I won’t be back again.

Over night passing thru

Room key I was given didn't work, and since no one sits at the desk at night, had to wait for someone to show up at the window, finally just called the hotel on my phone.  Desk clerk came with another key, Once inside the room there were empty drink bottle in the room and the toilet was filthy.  The desk clerk came back up and had to set up the tv since the remote wouldn't do it.  He personally cleaned the toilet, he said he would like to give me another room but he was full, said he could refund money if I wanted to go to another hotel.  It was already 11 p.m. I didn't feel like moving.  I felt like he could have at least offered a discount.  I don't recommend.

Poor Maid Service

Very nice. Rooms were clean, high quality bedding, decent breakfast but was limited due to COVID. Staff was friendly and professional. Room smelled clean and fresh. Good carpet. Great rate. Fast food near by. Would stop there again.

The room we had needed a deep cleaning! It could have also used a remodel. That being said it was not to bad for the price and the breakfast was pretty good. Sausage and biscuits, fruit, waffles. A little more than the usual fair. Probably would not stay here again but it wasn't terrible.

Needs a deep clean

On a recent trip I needed a motel for the night about halfway to my destination and the Deerfield Inn was a good budget option. Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. I would also like to give a shout out to the lady who was working at the front desk who recommended a good local place for BBQ!

Good budget option in Blytheville

My first impression should have been the answer. Should have left.
 The man behind the desk was somewhat friendly, until I mentioned I had a dog. Down hill from there. 
First room smelled awful. Wall paper stained, filthy carpet. ALSO I asked for room on opposite side of building. 
Went back got another key, this room seemed somewhat better. It wasn't. After getting car unpacked I noticed room was full of flies and gnats.
I had driven all day and did not have energy to move again. Plus places like this never refund you. 
SHEETS were dingy bed uncomfortable, carpet so disgusting I had to wear my shoes whole time. By morning, 3am the sink and desk area was covered in dead bugs. I didn't even shower. Brushed my teeth, while swatting gnats, and left. 
Maybe my room was gross because that's were they pit you with a dog. 
Still sure your supposed to meet health codes. What a horrible stay. 

Go to next town

Staff was adequate, room was marginally clean.  We discovered the shower handle was missing in bathtub, when we reported it to the front desk, we were told they would report it.  There was no apology for the inconvenience, or offer to make it right.  We also made this known to the main office and have received no response.  We definitely will not stay here again.

This was our second time at the Deerfield Inn in Blytheville and we were quite satisfied with the accommodations.  Room was clean, shower was good, TV good picture, bed was comfy.  The top security clasp on the door was broken and it was very hard to engage the deadbolt.  My husband had to strong arm it into place.  Other than that, no major complaints.
