Beautiful home with friendly hosts. Enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The view of the surrounding hills is beautiful. The room is fine for 2 people and the beds were comfortable. Michelle was very helpful with places to eat and areas to hike and ride our bikes. We enjoyed our stay and will return.  

great relaxing atmosphere

Owners were welcoming.  Provided great information about the area restaurants, site seeing and special events that were going on.  Breakfast each morning was very good.  Beds comfortable and bathrooms clean.  

Long weekend in the Catskills

A recent return stay at the Breezy Hill Inn to relax and find respite from the heat was fantastic! The views from the Inn are incredible. The green mountains are a pleasure to see, and the Inn is beautiful—in fact, a group of talented artists were there finding inspiration from the setting.  The hundreds of flowers surrounding the Inn are varied in size and spectacular color.  The breakfasts were gourmet quality, fresh and tasty. Our hosts, Alan and Michelle, were more than helpful in suggesting venues to visit, and in recommending restaurants with excellent food. A beautiful, relaxing weekend in the cool mountains.

Relax in luxury

We spent 3 nights in June at Breezy Hill Inn. The location is amazing, the house gorgeous as well as the views. The Catskills was an incredibly diverse area that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring, also thanks to Michelle’s tips - what is nice to visit, restaurant recommendations etc, she provided it all. Breakfast was very good and diverse and all freshly baked/home-made. All amenities are great (we spent a few hours at the pool table in the basement bar) and the room was very good as well. We felt very much at home at Breezy Hill Inn!

Great stay in the Catskills!

Had a great time, even the teens enjoyed the stay. Place was cozy, food was great and the area was incredibly beautiful. We enjoyed the hiking and the restaurants in the area. The hosts restored this great home to perfection and we can’t wait to be back in the summer.

We’ll be back..

Had a wonderful weekend at this BandB. The surrounding were wonderful as was the property.  The renovated farmhouse was beatiful. Our hosts were very accommodating, and  the room was comfortable. Breakfast was more than a continental type other places we stayed provided. I did use the gym/steamroom after a long hike. We plan a return visit in the near future. 

Our room at the Inn

We stayed at the Breezy Hill Inn for three days, for a skiing trip. I was really looking forward to our stay, but I came away rather disappointed. (Afterwards, I read all the 2-star and 3-star reviews again, and found that they exactly match our experience there.) We rented the suite (at $300/night after tax), which is very spacious for a family with two children; the main bed is very comfortable, but the sofa bed is old and creaky and unpleasant to sleep on. (It was okay for the kids, but I tried it during the third night, and hardly got any sleep at all.) The breakfast was on the small side: a very small fruit cup, a small gluten-free muffin, a small glass of orange juice, one kind of jam on a plate; then an omelette and one slice of toast. Tea is from tea bags, hot chocolate the cheap powdered stuff. The waffles on the second day tasted like cardboard. Better than at a Holiday Inn for sure, but not the sort of breakfast one expects at a nice B&B. On the third day, they offered me a second baked egg, presumably because one was left over, but on the other two days, I got up hungry. My daughter did not like the muffin or the omelette, and it would have been nice if they had offered her something else, but they didn't. 

The inn itself looks great, with lots of wood. Despite extremely cold weather, the rooms were comfortably warm. In the basement, there is a pool table and some board games, a sort of gym, and a very nice steam room. (I loved that in the evening after skiing.) In general, I would describe the atmosphere at the inn as cool, definitely not welcoming. I had a pleasant conversation with Alan, but Michelle seemed somewhat gruff. You have to ask for everything, and are made to feel like a nuisance. On the first evening, Michelle asked about breakfast; I suggested 7am, but that was too early, and so it ended up being 8am; convenient for the innkeepers, no doubt, but the kids got to their ski lesson 10 minutes late. On the last day, after breakfast, I asked about the check-out time and was told 11am, but the implication was that earlier would be better, because otherwise the cleaning staff would have to come back. It's not hospitality if you put your own convenience over that of your guests. 

I was hoping that this would be a place that we can come back to every year for our skiing trip, and feel at home -- like the kind of B&B that we used to stay at when I was a child -- but it is not.

Family skiing trip

We stayed at the Breezy Hill Inn the first weekend in October for a family wedding.Michelle and Alan are wonderful hosts. Michelle was able to recommend a great restaurant for dinner our first night there. I was looking for maple syrup to bring home and she directed me  to the sugar shack down the road where the maple syrup is made, She also suggested the weekly Farmers Market which is 10 minutes away and had lots of produce and fun things to buy. 
The home is beautiful, very clean and comfortable.Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Inn has a beautiful large front porch with rockers and a side screened porch with comfy furniture  which over looks the gardens. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The Inn is a hidden gem with beautiful views in the surrounding area.  We are looking forward to a return trip!

Amazing weekend at Breezy Hill Inn!!!

I spent 2 nights at the Inn while attending a wedding in the area, and was super impressed with the property.  The house and garden are beautiful and well-maintained. My room (the Blue Room) was large and comfortable, and had a seating area.  The inn keepers, Michelle and Alan, were friendly and made me feel as if I was guest in their own home.  Michelle went out of her way to give me suggestions about activities in the area.  Highly recommended!

Amazing stay

We just finished an absolutely fantastic visit to the Breezy Hill Inn. This picturesque B&B is located centrally in the Catskills with so many sights just a short and beautiful drive away. Michelle (one of our hosts) was gracious, knowledgeable and always more than willing to help us with our itineraries. Side note: she even helped with recommendations for an upcoming trip to Spain!!! 

The Breezy Hill Inn is an immaculate property, the rooms are well appointed, and we slept very comfortably. Breakfast was delicious and varied during our stay. We will definitely rebook the next time we’re in the area.
