This place is just ridiculous the room stank and I had a womens hair on the shower walls and one of the towels the other two towels that were in the room had mascara on one that came off on my finger as I touched it and the other looked like someone had wiped there behind with it the front desk man charged me a d didn't give me my change or receipt when we checked in at 230am stating that his manager would give it to me at check out this same man then came and knocked on our door at 730am to tell us that check out was 830 am so we packed up and went out to the lobby and I asked to speak to the manager after he tried to take the key back and he said the manager wouldn't be in until 11am I asked about my change from the money I had paid and he disgruntaly pulled money out of his pocket a d gave me my change we left immediately this was a horrible stay the room was overall disgusting and service was ridiculous the same front desk man also took us to the room before we got to check in and passed gas the whole walk to the room and once inside the room aswell then returned to the desk and it was so bad I think he might have deficated upon himself just a horrible location never again will I stay here

Just wow

We were traveling after a late flight into Minneapolis and had guaranteed our hotel in Brainerd with a credit card.  Our room was supposed to be held for us until 7 a.m. the following morning.  We arrived a little before 2 a.m. and were told that they had just given our room to somebody else 15 minutes earlier because they "recycle" rooms after midnight.  We were told that we should have called to let them know that we were going to be late.  I would have agreed had we not guaranteed the room with a credit card which means that they can charge us for the room no matter what.

So we had to try and find another hotel with a vacancy at 2 in the morning!  We first tried to stay at another Choice Hotels location as this was going to be our second stay on their stay 2 times and get a $50 gift card promotion.  Unfortunately, the two Choice Hotels locations had no vacancies so we booked the cheapest hotel that we could find which was $45 more than our original reservation.

We were livid and when I called Choice Hotels "Customer Service" number I got their offshore customer service group.  I told them that I wanted to receive the points that would have been awarded to us for the $50 gift card and to be reimbursed for the extra $45 that we had to pay.  At first I was told that they could only give me one or the other until finally a "manager" was able to authorize both items.

I told them that this was the least that they could do as all it did was make us whole from a financial standpoint but gave us nothing for the extreme inconvenience we were put through.  I sent an e-mail to their Guest Relations department with the Subject Line of "You probably have just lost my business" and all I got was the automated response of "We have received your e-mail and will respond to you as quickly as we can."   I never heard back from them so now they have lost our business and nobody at Choice Hotels seems to care.

"Guaranteed" room was given away

No air, no electric in some outlets, breakfast sucks, no tv, oh one Chanel. Stay from hell. Worst hotel stay ever! Oh I did I for get to mention the 4 police officers called to the hotel Saturday night!

The stay from hell!

Great place! The staff and housekeepers make the place! Good size rooms and big parking lot! Easy access to everything in town! Pets allowed! Great tv and WiFi! Stayed here before when it was econolodge and Rodeway seems a better fit! Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel with excellent location,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception she makes our trip more interesting with her advice & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.
