From arrival to departure, my family felt welcome and safe in our clean and cozy cabin.  Chieko was so helpful when we arrived.  I have 4 daughters and she went out of her way to say hello to them and put smiles on their faces.  They really enjoyed feeding the Koi fish in her pond and riding on the boat.  Our first ever family trip was scheduled for the week the pandemic shutdown the nation.  She worked with us so much to make this finally happen.  Her staff went out of their way to help in any way they could, as well.  Thank you for helping make our trip smooth!  We will be back as soon as we can!

We used the cabin at Green Valley as our base while we were checking out the Ozarks.  It was off season so it was very quiet, only 3 or 4 cabins being used.  Not many of the units have a lake view and those that do are set way back from the water.  The pool and the hot tub were closed, actually the hot tub looked like it hadn't been used in a long time.  The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable, would be great for a family.  The back door opened up to the children's play area.  Walked down to the lake for a beautiful sunrise. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation.

Peaceful, Quiet, Relaxing.

My family came here for a little vacation in July 2020 and had a thoroughly delightful time.  We stayed in a single, two-bedroom cabin which had plenty of room for my wife, myself, and my adult son.  We had a few minor problems (no internet on the free wifi, circuit breaker popped) but once we informed the staff, it was quickly corrected.  We rented a boat for tubing and water skiing, swam in the lake off the dock, played horseshoes, and slept great.

A couple of items of note:

1) The cabin size was clean and comfortable.  It is not cavernous, but it isn't cramped either.  It consisted of two bedrooms, a single bathroom, and a living dining area.  The queen beds do fill up the bedrooms, so there is not a lot of extra space in there.  There were no dressers and one bedroom did not have a closet area.  This wasn't a problem for my son, who lived out of his suitcase.  Our bedroom did have a closet area where my wife hung up her clothes.  The bed was firm, but not rock hard.  Air conditioning was great!  Cabin was insulated enough such that we didn't hear the rooster crowing in the morning.  Bathroom had a tub/shower and was small, but not cramped.   Stove, microwave, refrigerator all worked great.  Dining table sat the three of us comfortably and the sleeper couch was big enough to sit the three of us for some evening TV viewing.

2) One of the docks had ladders for getting into and out of the lake.   You can easily swim off the dock.  It had benches for just sitting and enjoying the view of the lake and surrounding area.  The lake temperature was perfect for swimming!  You do have to be careful as boats use this dock and the one right next to it, so there is some traffic.   Not someplace I would let young children swim unsupervised. 

3) The pool was crystal clear.  Didn't swim in it, but many people were.

4) Green Valley has its own boats.  Was able to rent from them when everybody else was booked up.  They don't have their own ski or tubing equipment, however.  For that you need to take a quick hop across the the lake (5 minutes, if that) to Ski Shack on Indian Point.

5) One thing I didn't pay attention to when I booked my reservation was where this place was actually located.  Thought we would be close to Branson, but it is a little drive.  This resort is located on the next peninsula over from Indian Point.  Branson was a 30 minute drive away.  Certainly livable, but be aware of its location.  (Silver Dollar City is about 15 minutes, and the nearest Walmart is also 15 minutes.)  A benefit of this location is it's QUIET!  If you're used to all the traffic driving around Branson this place is a welcome reprieve.  There were times in the evening when I was driving on the roads around Green Valley when I didn't see a single car, either in my directly or coming at me.

In summary it was a delightful stay.  It earned every five star rating I gave it.  We will certainly be going back.

Wonderful lakeside resort

Took my grandkids for vacation and had a fabulous time. The cabin was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable. Everything was in working condition. The pool was awesome. The kids spent lots of time there and enjoyed it. They mostly loved jumping off the dock and swimming. We rented kayaks for a great price. We also rented a pontoon boat which was a great time. It had been a while since I had navigated a boat and Scott was so kind to take us out for a refresher. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. I will definitely be back again. Fun memories for sure.

Fun times

This place was better than expected!!! We stayed in the lakefront cabin and it was beyond cozy, romantic, and very peaceful. The lake was just a couple of steps away from our cabin and the manager made the rental process of the plantoon boat very easy and simple. Would definitely visit again

Best couple getaway vacation

This is our second time staying at Green Valley, we stayed for the first time last year.  We lost the resort our family always stayed at in Branson some years back when it was destroyed to make cold and modern buildings and hotels.  We have searched for a replacement and happened on Green Valley in 2018.  We were immediately taken in by the simplicity, hominess, beauty, comfort, and friendly staff.  We love Green Valley and plan to visit every year possible.  We are already planning our trip for next year.

We have found our home away from home in the Ozarks!

My extended family has stayed here every 2 or 3 years. This year we numbered 32.  The cabins are clean, somewhat dated, which adds to the charm.  Cheiko and her staff are so accomodating and helpful.  Close to Silver Dollar City and Indian point.  They have a few pontoons for rent so that is convenient.  We  love it there

Beautiful lake views and wonderful people

My family has gone to Green Valley every year for over 10 years.  We enjoy it so much  Sometimes we have had 53 people, other times 27 people.  We rent several units, depending on how many are coming...  We seldom go into Branson because out group likes to stay on the water.  Amber and Chieko are the best !!!  We had a great time in 2019 and are looking forward to going  again in 2020..

Summer 2019

This is our 6th year staying with Chieko and the staff at Green Valley. Everyone is so friendly and the resort is spread out so you are not on top of other guests. It's across from Indian Point and not too far from a couple markets to get your necessary food and beverages for your stay. The cabins are stocked with your basic necessities like silverware, plates, cups, a few pans, fresh towels, and even dish soap. Bags of ice and worms can be purchased from the resort office. The swimming dock gives a great view of the sunset. I already booked my reservations for next year because my family enjoys it so much.

Always a great time

We have stayed at Green Valley now 4 different times and have loved every single visit!  It has a perfect location for boating and swimming off the dock.  Chieko, Amber and staff are wonderful and very accommodating.  They are always available if you need anything. The cabins are well equipped and comfortable.  We head out with a group from Colorado for a week on the lake and we can hardly wait to get there in the summer!  Lovely place to stay!
