My spouse and I stayed her just before Christmas, and it was wonderful.  It's a romantic boutique chalet that feels like you're living in a winter holiday wonderland movie!  Jake, the owner, was always around and super friendly and helpful if we wanted anything.  The place is warm, inviting, cozy, and peaceful.  There's on-sight parking for one vehicle per room.  The check-in and check-out process was super easy.  There's always coffee, teas, and oatmeal waiting for you in the upper lobby area if you're in the mood.  And there are two above-ground hot tubs, which were very clean, easy to access from the upper lobby, and fun to soak in after a long, cold day.  We were in Suite 2, which is their smallest suite, and it was very nice and clean.  In the room was a coffee maker with coffee, a microwave,  microwave popcorn, and a large mini-fridge (not the tiny ones that most hotels use but more like you had in your college dorm).  It had a super comfortable mattress, a nice size flat screen TV (around 48"), and fun balcony with chairs to relax on.  It's a 30-second walk to the free town shuttle stop if you want to ride anywhere on the edges of town.  But it's also easy to walk, as it's only two blocks to South Park Ave (the main road entering Breckenridge with some shopping), and just three blocks from Main Street (which is the historic strip with shops, restaurants, and self-care / spa-type services).  This is also a ski-in / ski-out chalet.  The ski path passes just above it, where there is a stairway to and from the chalet.  We couldn't recommend this place more.  We'll be back. This Chalet is a Hallmark Movie Winter Wonderland Getaway!!!

I had forgotten that we had stayed there before and the bed was hard.  Needless to say, we couldn’t sleep. We had a different room last time, so I’m guessing all the beds are hard. It’s a shame, because the location and quaintness of the inn are great. Parking was hard if you have a larger vehicle also, but free.

Hard bed

Great boutique property. Spacious rooms, everything you need is available and check in was extremely easy. Keys were waiting upon our arrival. We used the hot tub which was clean and well maintained. We only saw one other person during our stay so it was very quiet. 
We’d definitely recommend and will plan to stay again if we return to the area. 

Quaint, Boutique location 

Beautiful little lodge tucked away, just a few blocks from Main Street. I would definitely give a 10/10 and stay again! The hot tubs were brand new and awesome after a day of walking around the town and hiking.

Great boutique hotel. Easy to park on site. Check in was easy. Caught the free bus in the morning to the slopes and skied back to the hotel in the evening. The hot tub was good after skiing. It was an easy walk to the restaurants, shops and bars. The elevator does not go the top floor, so request a lower floor if that is a concern. Hosts were very hospitable. Will stay again

Great boutique hotel

I've stayed at Skiway Lodge in winter and summer. The ski in/out aspect is such a huge advantage during the ski season. During any season, the easy parking, short walk to the room, quick and simple contactless payment, and location is fantastic. Not to mention the two hot tubs. So quiet and and an easy walk to Main Street. Would recommend to anyone.

Great for all seasons

Pros. 
Very quiet. Suite 10 had a livingroom with fireplace and separate bedroom with king sized bed, walk in closet, walk out balcony. The 3 suites on floor 2 were off a large very nice  gathering area with couches and a fireplace.  This area had fresh ice water, cocoa, oatmeal, toasters, dishes, etc to use.  Lodge was just a few blocks walking distance to Main St where all the action in town is and maybe 500 feet from the free in town shuttle. 
Cons.
Some things showed wear - 1 bathrobe was tattered with holes,  the bath towels had seen better days. Maybe renovation going on but our one window overlooked a large dumpster of junk. The fireplace went on and then the flames went out immediately so we turned off thinking something was wrong. 
Bed was very firm - this is not for us but  may be fine for you. 
Any cons would not keep us from recommending the lodge  staying here again. 



Quiet, Good Location, Suite 10

I love the Ski Lodge! Was so at home I asked if I could just move in. My visit was during summer but could see that you can ski right off the slopes to the location. While I knew other guests were in the lodge, they did not disturb us and barely saw anyone. Our suite was #5 and I was so incredibly comfortable. I felt as if I had the entire property to myself. They Che k in packets were left at the door and very self explanatory. The second floor has a common area with tables, cold water and snacks for guests set up. There are more option in the kitchenette area that are available plus ice. You have to be comfortable serving yourself. Which is such a plus to me. They provide a full size coffee maker and popcorn in room. There’s plenty of tea and etc in the kitchen. I will definitely be back.

Love Breckenridge

I’d give this hotel zero stars if that was an option. Ceiling in bathroom shower was leaking into the tub through what was obviously old bubbled up plaster. Room was dirty with cracked ceilings everywhere, peeling paint, hair in the sink, stains on carpet, gross drips on bathroom door (see pictures). Heat wouldn’t shut off and we baked at about 80 degrees and nobody to call because there are no staff there at night. Speaking of which, nobody was at the hotel when we arrived and it was 7 degrees outside and the doors were locked and we had to look up the hotel number then wait to have someone drive over and give us a key (and the person who answered was rude and unapologetic and tried to blame it on Hotels.com but they obviously found our reservation). Very old lumpy pillows with a single thin pillow cover (no dust or moisture protector) so every other guest's drool and dust have leaked into the pillow for years. Garbage from past guests under the beds. Check out time is a ridiculous 9:30 am. No staff at front desk in morning either and manager never returned my call about the heat or leak (couldn't use shower because of constant dripping from ceiling). If you stay more than one night, which thank goodness we did not, you will not get cleaning service. Seriously the worst hotel I have stayed in and not even cheap. Stay further away from Breck if you need to but don’t stay here. This was truly awful.

Dirty; leaky; rude management; worst experience in a decade

Great location and clean.  Although visiting hotels during the pandemic is like staying at ghost towns, there was something a little off-putting about staying at the hotel without a support staff.  One of the sets of keys to room 9 didn't work, there was one set of shampoo and conditioner for three people for 2 days, the vanity area was 24 inches wide and enclosed so that brushing your teeth your elbows were jammed up against the towel ring or the light switches, and the room consisted of 2 twin beds with a sofa haphazardly placed at the footboards. Decor is dated but in good condition.  I was fine with the location and price but was puzzled at the hotel billing itself as a 4.6 star boutique lodging.
