The Brentwood is in a great location near by to many mansions in the area. A very quiet and peaceful place. We 3 had a great comfy room which was clean. You have to make yourself at home and sort of help yourself.  There are no full time staff to wait on you. Breakfast is continental so choose somewhere to eat like loveless cafe about 20 min away. Staff was friendly when you saw someone and  would help if needed . The grounds were beautiful and we hope to get back. 

We had a great peaceful stay. Perfect

The location and the property are great.  It is located in an area with many fine old homes. Long driveway a great sun deck where you can watch squirrels and the occasional wild turkey in the large backyard. Now for the not so good. Prior to arrival you will get a four digit code to let you into the house, and another to get you into your room. You had better look for it because there was absolutely no one else at the house.  Breakfast consisted of a Keurig coffeemaker and a few plastic wrapped donuts.  There were only two towels and one hand towel for two of us and they were never replaced. The shower and the bathroom were in need of some attention. By the time we left, three days of empty coffee cups were still in the sink. The two days we were there we saw no one else, except a couple that came in the check out the place for a future wedding.

Not as good as it could be

If you want a host and a made from scratch breakfast, this is not the place for you.   The rooms are nice,  although our room wasn't clean when we arrived.   The location  was great to get to Franklin or Nashville.   That was a real bonus.   The setting is pretty. 

Anniversary trip

4 days before our stay - which was booked for a while - the innkeeper called and canceled our reservations due to - he was leaving town. Left us high and dry without a place to stay. Very disappointed.

Disappointed

A lovely B & B just right for setting the mood for Nashville!  Great host who did a great brekky!  Rooms were large and very well appointed. Location a bit out of town but this was good for us.  National park not far away.
