I go to Broken Bow quite often and always stay at Microtel.  The staff are very friendly and the rooms are always nice.  
Will be visiting again soon and will stay there.  Couldn't ask for anything better.

Nice Visit

The lobby and outside appearance of the hotel look nice but when you walk in there is a very noticeable and unpleasant smell that hits you. The check in person could have been nicer. One side of the juice machine was broken and the other side had orange juice which was nasty. Breakfast was two types of cereal and a few old bananas and you could toast a bagel. I didn’t trust the milk in the pitcher sitting out. I would not stay here again unless it was a last resort.

An average stay

My husband and I called the hotel and made a reservation for the night of July 1, 2023. We held the room with a credit card and we were given a confirmation number. When we arrived at the hotel at 10:00 pm we went in to check in and ask to see the room and we would be paying cash. This upset the lady at the desk that we ask to see the room. We saw the room and it looked dated but it was okay. We walked back to the front desk with the lady and she said oh no someone already booked your room. We told her there was no way because we held it with a credit card. I told her I would be calling corporate office and her exact words were, “go ahead what can they do”.
I can’t believe Wyndham allows this hotel to operate under their name. I should have read all the negative reviews before booking with them. Lesson learned!!

Very Rude Desk Clerk

I cannot believe Wyndham allows them to run under their name. The rudest staff I have EVER encountered. They cursed and threatened. Just stay away from this dump. They do not have customer service AT ALL.

Despicable

Business brought me to Broken Bow, OK and I needed to spend the night there. Unfortunately, there was no Hilton or Marriott property (my usual choices) in the area. So, this Microtel was the best hotel accommodation available.

The staff was helpful, but the room was a challenge for this seasoned business traveler. It was small and had limited electrical outlets; a MAJOR PROBLEM because I use a MS-Surface, HP-Laptop, and HP Printer when I am on the road.

paid for the hotel when booking the hotel. got to the hotel and they said it hadn’t been paid for and we’d have to pay. i even showed them where it had come out of my bank account on the date of booking. didn’t get to stay. will not go back. 

horrible.

My husband checked in, went to the room,the TV doesn't work,the volume changes the channel etc. He went to the front desk and the lady walked away mumbling. The hotel is so dirty, and all seems to be falling apart.  See pictures attached

Terrible Hotel and customer service

I was charged for this room when I didn't even stay here. The booking was never confirmed so I was unable to even cancel it. When I called the staff was extremely condescending and rude and said "how was I supposed to know you weren't coming" I explained to her that I never received a confirmation so the booking never went through! Ughhhh needless to say I was charged for a room that I did not even stay in. Make sure you have a confirmation before assuming anything with this company!

Worst customer service ever!

Did not have a reservation and check in was fast. Manager was very friendly the morning we checked out. Told us to have a safe trip. Would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Great value. 

Excellent stay

I paid for a room in full,  for my daughter and I that was coming in kinda late.  We arrived at the hotel at 10:00pm.  The minute I said my name to check in a very rude lady said, oh your room was canceled!  I'm like what?  She then said, and I don't have any vacancies!  We are completely sold out!   I had made my reservation with Booking.com and told her I had no notice of cancellation from the hotel or Booking.com.  I had my phone, so it was easy to look up immediately.  She said, she didn't care, our room had been given away.  I said for what reason?  I paid in full!  She just made up something and said, well because you weren't here by 6:00pm.   That's the craziest thing ever!!!  When you pay in full for a room, it doesn't matter if you get there at 4:00pm or midnight!!!  YOU PAID FOR THE ROOM.  And btw...that says that no where on the reservation!

Thank goodness my daughter is 29 years old, but could you imagine what would have happened if she had been young?  A single mom with a 3 or 4 year old trying to find a place to stay late at night???

We called every hotel in Broken Bow, which is not a lot, but finally found a room.  And it was bad!  We almost just turned around and went home.

This is the first time that I have written a review like this.  But please be aware, there is no guarantee you will have a room, even with a reservation.

And to top it off, as we were walking back to our car, some man just came up out of the parking lot and was like "hey ladies".  We ran and locked ourselves in the car!

I was told by a local, that outside of Broken Bow, they are building a big casino and the workers there stay at the hotels and the hotels can charge a whole lot more for the rooms, rather that a booking on-line.  So they will cancel a room so they can get more money.

Sorry, if this seems like a grant, but I was so upset and had my daughter with me and we had no place to stay thanks to this hotel.
