So nasty and dirty. I am completely shocked how bad it was. Seriously. Looks to be dried blood wiped on the wall, possibly vomit on the sitting chair, and mold growing on the ceiling. On top of that the sheets were dirty and mattress was super uncomfortable.

Ugh the worst!

I’ve stayed here several times and for the most part it’s clean and comfortable. However, what I didn’t like is that I brought my fiancé for the first time and we got up this morning to go to the lobby for breakfast and the whole place is closed. Yes, we can go anywhere in town and have a nice breakfast we want but for what I paid for a room, I would think they would at least have complimentary coffee and perhaps a bagel or something. Anyway, we will be staying in privately owned cabins in the area from now on. We receive much better amenities for around the same price. 

Disappointed

Do not stay here.  Many many many issues.  Started off with dirty towels, dirty pillow cases, no hangers, no lamp on bedside table, broken piece in sink, only washcloth for hand towel, blinds broken (only go one way), water bubble on ceiling, could not get shower to work had to have my parents come show us how because their room had instructions, broken toilet paper holder, bathroom door broken, needs painting inside and outside, the pool was horrible worst one I have been in.  These are the problems about the room etc.  Had a couple fighting outside room first night from 11 pm - 2 am off and on when I tried to call the number given NO ONE EVER ANSWERS.  I was about to call the Sheriff when they finally shut up and went to bed.  Lost power the last morning for ten minutes, but of course could not get a hold of anyone.  I would not ever stay here again.  This is a disgrace to the beautiful town of Hochatown.

Really nice people. Their website indicated Bed&Breakfast. Found they stopped Breakfast during Covid and hadn’t restarted. Exterior has deferred maintenance, interior furniture was clean but room was deferred cleaning. 

When it is the only place available… 

The Lodge is a dump. 
First thing, the lodge is way OVER PRICED,
OUR ORIGINAL ROOM WAS DIRTY, the toilet was stopped up, the mini fridge was broken, or at least I couldn't get it to turn on. Our second room was not much better. The air conditioner wouldn't stay on, kept going off an.d on There were cigarettes butts all on the ground, the dumpster had trash falling out and all over the ground, the grass had not been weed eated in at least 2 weeks.
The second day our room didn't even get cleaned untill I stopped one of the cleaning staff and she did gather the towels and half assed swept the floor, this was almost 3 pm. I had spoken to the same lady as we were leaving for the morning and my cleaning tag was on the door.
Yes, I know people forget, but really.
The pool was clean, but was stagnant and there were no lounge chairs, but they did have a shower chair you could sit on. 
My advice stay in Broken Bow.
This was my anniversary trip.
The only nice thing I can say about this place is that the office staff was friendly.

Anniversary trip

I am here for a family reunion and now stranded 8 hours from home because, after confirming twice in the past week, management messed up our booking and gave our rooms away. It's 2 adjoining rooms. Not super complicated, but suddenly unavailable once they already ran our card. Their solution was a refund. Absolutely unacceptable. I even offered to ask people to pay to switch rooms with us. "Well, I don't have anyone to clean the rooms now."
Also, the entire lodge is without water now. You can imagine how interested they are in fixing that, too.

Epic fumble, absolutely no interest in fixing their problems

This is the first negative review I ever made.
My husband and I are in our 40's and are avid travelers. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in.
1. We could not figure out how to get the water to come out the shower head.
2. Bath towels were a little larger than hand towels and very rough.
3. Bath mat was fringed and freyed.
4. Extreme amount of gross grime and dirt on inside of front door by the handle. 
5. Plug-in air freshener plugged into the wall, I'm assuming to hide odors.
6. 12 cup Coffee maker that needed a coffee filter and coffee but instead came with Kurig style cups.
7. Remote control for T.V. wouldn't work
8. The attic access above the door had a 24" broken wooden piece and was laying on the floor of the room
9. Door handle was very loose and about to fall off.
10. We accidentally got locked out of our room and I went to the office to get a new key but they were closed, locked up and all staff members were absent by 6:30p.m. on a Saturday night.
11. Beds were stiff, scratchy sheets and the bedding smelled like air freshener, which gave us headaches. 

We checked out before the sun came up the next morning. We called the office to explain our concerns and see how they would accommodate us. 
The woman on the phone said she could write our info on a sticky note and give us a 50% discount on our next stay.
We declined. We would never consider staying here again.
Save your money and your sanity! Find another place to stay.

Hocha Dump

They lost 2 in our groups reservation. $10 more per night to rebook. Checked in and had to pay full price up front. No Kleenex in room, toilet running nonstop, the small bath towels were very rough and mattress was terrible. Every time you flushed you had to take the lid off to unstick the chain. Small light in bathroom gave almost no light in the shower as the dark curtain kept it out. Front desk basically ignored the issues and let us know there were no refunds period. Another lady in the group had water and mold stains on her ceiling. TV remote (all 4) never worked the 3 nights she was there. They kept getting mad at her for requests one. When they would actually come to the room they could not get any of them to work. Not their problem no REFUND. See photos

Worse stay. Rude uncaring staff

The room had such a chemical smell that I had an asthma attack and asked to be moved to another room. The gal on duty said they were booked and couldn’t do it. I asked for a refund and she said they will not refund my money. She then hung up on me. There were no other rooms available in town so my friend offered to switch rooms with me. The tv didn’t work and was told it would be fixed the next day. That was Thursday and today is Saturday and no tv. The beds suck and will NEVER come back. The staff was rude and unprofessional.

The first room we got had no toilet seat cover.They did not have cable tv, they had ruka tv. They had internet but they had problems with it so the tv sucked. We had ants all over one of the beds the first morning. The second room had the same problems with internet and tv. One of the walls had big pieces of paint peeling.This hotel needs a complete remodel and uprades.
