Last year, I stayed here for one night while attending a funeral of a relative, based on a good stay I'd had here a few years prior. I recently had to attend another funeral and stayed here once again. I actually ended up in the same room I had in December 2022. The place has gone downhill from a year ago. I had to go back to the front desk to request towels and washcloths for the room. The floor was filthy dirty (especially the bathroom) and the toilet appeared to be dirty. Because I used a free Choice Privileges night, I guess I got my money's worth, but even with this being about the cheapest place to stay at this exit off I-65, I'm not sure I'd stay here again. The wi-fi worked well, the shower water pressure was sufficient, and the furniture was comfortable, but the cleanliness was a bit off-putting, especially since the same room a year prior was more acceptable.

This place has gone downhill over the past year

Extremely overpriced for what you get. The front desk staff could speak very little English and struggled to understand anything.  The lobby is the ultimate in deception, it's modeled to make you expect the rooms must also be decent.. but that is far from what you get. The rooms are very dated and cheaply furnished.  The towels have long past their useable life long past of needed to be replaced.  But to no real surprise is the breakfast.. if you can stretch your ability to call it that, hopefully I will be able to add a picture of that. The owner's investment into the "breakfast" could not be more than five dollars at the most. 
The grounds are not maintained and in very poor condition. 
This property is a classic example of what's gone wrong in the medium priced hospitality industry in our country, foreign investment with the purpose to simply bleed the income without providing quality or service. 
This should be your very last resort in motels. 

Pitiful place and overpriced 

My experience with the night shift front desk attendant was absolutely delightful, she was extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and spotless. We has no issues with our service dog which was a pleasant surprise as bringing her along is often a hastle. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

One night stay

Need I say more? Stayed here last night got in at 10 pm woke multiple times throughout the night feeling as if I was getting bit by something. At around 5 am actually crushed a bed bug that was on my back! Jumped up and looked on the bed to find several bugs on the pillow and bed! I immediately called the front desk the lady offered to put me in a different room but I decided to just leave. I now have somewhere around a dozen bites on my arms and back! My personal opinion is that the staff did not seem to concerned with the issue.

Victim

I only stayed one night. The room served as what I needed. I only had four complaints. I did not bring them up to the staff as I didn't encounter them until after 11 pm and they weren't detrimental to my visit.

The first complaint I had was that there was an obvious cigarette burn/hole in one of the bed comforters. 

The 2nd complaint was that the Wifi was not strong enough to connect to the internet or do anything. 

The 3rd/4th complaint have to do with the shower. The water pressure was not very strong which made it awkward to shower, with the stream being quite dull. The water was hot out of the main spicket, but when it came out of the shower head it was quite cool.

Other than that, there were no issues that really hampered my stay. I would stay here again if I needed to.

Overall good stay

Stayed here as a last minute option. Nice for budget accommodations. Dark room and relatively quiet especially for being so close to the highway. Food options and gas close. If you are in a pinch I would recommend it.

Affordable Option

The owners are the operators and they are very extremely accomodating to their guest. They will go out of their way and far beyond their responsibilities to assure that you are safe, secure, comfortable and happy in this hotel. Of course somethings could be better, it is like that in any hotel, individual taste might not like what I like. But this motel and these people running it, are well worth the money spent. I was very pleased. The bed will put you to sleep so fast. It was a California King and was like sleeping on a cloud. Very comfortable. The owners were the best I have ever run into. They are exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone, with or without kids. They also are right beside a Taco Bell and a Waffle House and of course being a trucker they have the Pilot right across the street so  you can get some of those delicious (sarcassim) 2 for $3.50 trucker special hot dogs if you prefer. Oh, and FREE Hi-speed wifi with no password, no limits.
