So... let's talk about the eclipse and trying to find a room between New Mexico and Texas..pfft..but then like a Phoenix soaring from the ashes comes this tiny motel on some backroad from Roswell. We were going to give it one last try for a room or push through another 6 hours...Greeted at the door like we were celebrities. The owner is smart,funny ,polite and had a room. Don't let the outside fool you (although we are certainly grateful that you did-- we were spent). Great rates , delightful rooms, actually was comfortable enough to sleep naked. The owner carried our bags in for us and wished us well in the parking lot on our way out. This place is FANTASTIC. We've never had better customer service anywhere-and we travel A LOT. Clean and pretty( did i mention i slept naked? Who does that at a roadside hotel?) 10 out of 10. The owners are fantastic.

This place is a gem....The owners are super nice and this place is very nice...its not the prettiest on the outside but never judge a book by its cover. The place was super clean. Beds were comfy and nice overall. We stayed 2 nights for a softball tournament.....also the TV in our room was like a 65in tv....

Glad I picked this place to stay instead of one of the chain hotels in town. I stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and it was so nice. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom all new with granite countertop, new tile and good towels (not the super small ones that usually come with a "budget" motel, thankfully). The owners really do welcome their guests and seek to assure one has all one needs. Microwave and good size fridge in room, spacious and just very comfortable for my one night stay, For the price I paid I felt like I got much better quality and attention then I would've gotten anywhere else.

Better than Economy!

When making my booking, the gentleman who manages/owns the place asked me my arrival time as a courtesy. I did not expect to receive a call making sure I was safe in my travels when I was behind schedule. The owners make you feel like family. The rooms are being remodeled and are lovely and spacious for the price. Can’t recommend this stop enough

Home away from home

A++ stay. Yes, it doesn't look like much on the outside, and it doesn't share a name with a well-known chain. But the customer service is exceptional, the rooms are clean, and the price is excellent. My group had 2 rooms, one was recently renovated with new tile, granite counters in the kitchenette and bath, plus a seriously huge TV.  This room is perfect for families or longer stays; it was spacious and the fridge in the kitchen was bigger than a standard motel mini-fridge. The other room was more basic, but still clean and functional. Look no further, this is the place to stay in Brownfield.

These owners Jee & Cable (married couple) were amazing, sweet, friendly & so accommodating!  They showed me their newly renovated king rooms which were a 5 STAR+ for $20 more/night but, we needed 2 queens/fulls due to us being w/our adult daughter. So we took the one on the pic above that's not quite renovated yet for much less.  BUT, it was very clean!!  I overlooked the stains on the walls/floors in bathroom & thruout most because I could see it was in process of renovation & seemed to be dusted, scrubbed/sanitized VERY CLEAN!  Extremely friendly super accommodating service, fresh towels & sheets, comfy beds, extremely spacious w/even a kitchen/sitting area & squeaky clean is best I can describe the experience!  WE WILL DEFINIITELY BE BACK ON OUR WAY BACK THROUGH TO ARIZONA YEARLY! Can't wait to see our new found friends again & checkout the progress of their hotel they take such GREAT PRIDE IN RENOVATIONS & CUSTOMER SERVICE W/HEART :)

The owners have turned the place around! So clean, and beautifully remodeled.  They are so considerate and friendly! From check in to check out it was a pleasure! Very quiet, comfortable and family oriented! We will be back again!

Great Family place

We absolutely loved our stay!
Gee anf her husband made us feel so welcome, like family. 

Our room was lovely, it was brand new and so clean, very spacious and the bed was huge. 

If we wernt traveling on to our next destination we would have stayed longer, and hope to stay again some day :) 

If you are passing by you won't regret staying.

Amazing stay

First let me begin and end on a positive note. 😂
We typically stay at 4 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 minimum hotels but we were totally exhausted from our road trip and could not drive another inch.

I called the front desk because I just wanted to know that as an 'expert' there were things that needed attention. There was no doom and gloom voice on the other end, no sound of being tired of hearing complaints, no sounds or indications of an exasperated man on the end of the line; there was such a friendly voice that I literally got off of the phone and told my wife "I just talked to the friendliest, most positive human being I've ever talked to in my entire life" which is saying a lot because I meet and work with some good people.

On the down side, we had to jot over to the store to get some ice. Would have been nice to know beforehand.
Also the people who own the place are poor and live in the same hotel so their continual condition is the same and it's less than half the price of other hotels right around the corner.

They also needed to go ahead and get some caulking around their sink and bathtub 🛁 in the next 6-6.5 months before it begins spawning the spores that lead to mildew growth.

Other than that, my wife is a clean-freak and I have given her a crash course in cosmetic blemishes (the entry door hinges needed either a little paint or to be stripped of it entirely) -

But to end, my wife (Michelle) almost started crying because it reminded her so much of her MaMa's house 🏡
