This place is the same place as Dancing Bears Inn, and it’s beyond horrible. I left early because I couldn’t stand it. I was charged $685 for three nights the first week of July, and now two weeks later, the room is $53-$71. I asked for a refund but management NEVER answers voicemail or messages so I’m sure I’m out an unbelievable amount of money for this place. I left my luggage in my car because I was afraid of bedbugs, roaches or rats getting in there and me taking them home. It was THAT bad!

AWFUL, HORRIBLE, AND DISGUSTING

Misrepresentation of actual property. No ac needs to be noted on amenities. No sheets on mattresses so had to sleep on top sheet with no sheet between me and comforter. Bathroom and kitchen combined is unsanitary.  Pots and pans provided but no stove to use them on. Supposed to have private patio but only a weed infested front step. When walking in the "apartment " the floors that were most likely put in 50 years ago were slanted and made you walk crazy...peeling wall paper, peeling vinyl floors in bathroom/kitchen combo and the indoor outdoor "carpet " was dirty black and worn completely out. We couldn't stay but one night and had to leave. I am not sure WHERE the pictures on the website came from but it wasn't there! I requested a refund for the other 2 nights but have not heard back.

Beyond rustic...Could not sleep for fear of Jason Vorhees in his hockey mask would materialize! Sleep Away camp could have been 

In March 2024 I reserved a cabin for 4 nights in late June via their website. My credit card was charged the full amount and then 2 days later charged again for the full rate. The owner does not answer phone calls but in a text informed me that the duplicate charge would be refunded. I was not! When we arrived in late June she made a show of trying to refund the duplicate charge but blamed technology issues for failing to do so. She promised to it that night and call me but did neither. The cabin we were given had multiple plumbing issues, a widow had broken glass, one bed was off of its base so dropped to the floor when someone would lie down on it and the advertised two-bedroom cabin had no privacy. We did have hot water which another guest I talked to did not. After the first night we were able to change to a different cabin which was a little better. The office was mostly unattended and generally locked with only a phone number to call, the one worker also handling a motel in Browning.

Could be a lot better

Last minute booking after touring glacier park. The staff is trying really hard but the facility is horrible. They first put us in a still dirty room. The next room was clean but the shower didn’t work, handle was missing. We ended up having to shower in the other room. That wasn’t great. Also they had no internet service and when we tried the tv it was broken also. The property is up for sale and it seems like the owners have washed their hands of it.

Staff is trying really hard

This place is a room and not much more. Two doors were off the hinges. The sheets and bedding were so questionable that we slept on top of them with our own blankets over them. No heat other than a space heater the size of a coffee pot. I seriously was afraid the room would catch fire. No AC. The curtains are so thin and offer no privacy. No remote for the TV. It was between this room and sleeping in our car. I would have been more comfortable in my car.

Not as advertised

I Booked but they would not answer phone or Email. I cancelled for another place. But drove here and it looked vacant and run down after many attempts to contact. They are located far from East glacier entrances. 

No way

The worst experience. Rooms are horrible. Hair covered shower and bathroom with pills all over the floor. Very bad customer service, literally a bunch of kids running the show. No computer in office to verify our stay. No running water, stains on the bedding tv doesn’t turn on and more. DO NOT waste your money here!!

THE WORST!!

Beyond  a doudt do not stay. the manager  of the motel ,or the person that met us at the desk, in simple words a dear in the head lights ,absolutely no clue what his job was. we prefer to shop local, to support  small business, but ,they preferred to watch TV. We first stopped in at  2:00 in the afternoon, rang the bell, but the office attendee preferred to watch TV 3 feet from the office area. When the office attendee came to the desk, he stared at his computer and advised check in was not till 4 PM, we said we would be back. We returned at 3:45, and was given a key for our cabin.   The room looked like some one just left,the bed and room was utterly disgusting, not clean at aĺlllllll, so 2 others left the TV to clean the room 5 min later report was it like it was untouched. Even if I was a back packer in search of a hostel I would not stay.
When we elected to not stay we were told we had to contact the refund specialist,who upon first attempt did not even answer.  The office attendee assured us our reservation was cancelled and no charge made.  They not only charged above the original fee, but also made an additional charge of over $189.00. Will never suggest to anyone to stay there.

Do not

We stayed there in mid-July and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, kitchen, and separate bathroom.  The motel is under renovation, so we were the only guests that night.  The motel has changed names, so look for EGM on the side of the building; it is across the street from a cafe and a large purple spoon.  There were snack bars and other items left for us to use/eat/drink in the kitchen.  We would stay there again.

Quiet location, large rooms

My charming wife and I made reservations at the East Glacier Motel and Cabins.
Unfortunately, we were exposed to COVID just a few days before our trip and didn't feel comfortable traveling.
The refund policy for East Glacier Motel and Cabins is very strict.
We did not receive a refund.
Caveat Emptor.
