I was in the bathroom and found that their housekeeping and clean the rooms very well. When I walk into a room, I shouldn't find trash from the last residents there. I found an empty soap wrapper on the bathroom floor. Cleaning a hotel room flawlessly is the key to great service. I know that I didn't open that soap wrapper because I don't use hotel soap.

Charged too much for one night, but can't clean very well.

We stopped here driving home from Florida and stopped here after trying a few other hotels that were booked up. I get charged us a lot more than there normal prices according to website.  It was clean but definitely not worth $135 a night.

Overpriced

My sister lives in Cadiz so we needed a room for the holiday. We asked for a noon checkout and were told yes. At 11:15 the lady demanded that I leave the room. The rooms we’re supposedly renovated but only the floors looked new. I felt cringy in the shower which was missing the towel bar. I was trying to be cheap because we had two rooms, and it did not pay off. The Quality Inn next door is way nicer. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

Pay the extra $ and go to Quality Inn

We stayed at another hotel earlier in the week. 

This one was 1) quieter, 2) cleaner, 3) more hospitable, and 4) had better mattresses!
AND it was $ 25.00/night cheaper!! 

Dan at the front desk was a jewel, and so helpful. This will be a future stay, for sure!

What an improvement!

Pet friendly, great bed and pillows. Inside of room was clean and updated. Outside needs work. But we did not sleep outside. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Convenient to places to eat and highway.

Great Night Sleep

This hotel made me a bit uneasy from a COVID precautions perspective. They did have signs on the door and plexiglass up at the front desk but neither employee I encountered wore a mask.  Neither did the local BBQ place. 

Also, while there were very few guests staying, we were all bunched up in one set of rooms rather than spacing us out.   My daughter and I were traveling alone and a room full of men were placed next to us in a room that had an adjoining door. It was uncomfortable at best. I don’t understand why they had to be directly next door.  I believe there were 3 rooms sold that night. 

The beds were comfortable and they provide a very nice sized refrigerator and a microwave.  The people were very friendly. 

It was priced appropriately on the low end. 

Red Roof Inn Cadiz (pronounced Katie’s, now you know)

Clean room very friendly and helpful staff. Not comfortable, bed was hard and pillows too big. Lights from parking lot kept room lit all night even with curtains closed. Door to room stuck hard to shove with all my weight to open. Door to bathroom rubbed against floor. The price was low but not really worth it since we couldn’t sleep.

Overnight only

I rarely stay in Red Roof Inns, but at 2 in the morning, we needed a place to crash - and the Quality Inn next door wanted an arm and a leg to crash for a few hours.

Check-in was a breeze and the front desk attendant was very courteous. The building was what it was, but the beds were far beyond what was expected, and we slept very comfortably. The ice machine worked (which is rare these days) and the staff didn’t even skip a breath as we filled our cooler up for the road trip ahead.

If you need to crash in Cadiz, you’ll be just fine at the Red Roof Inn.

Roadside Suprise

Passing through on a trip to Florida and stayed here for the night. Room had a musty odor and smelled like whiskey. Floor was super dirty and sticky. Bed was average comfort level. Rooms looked like they tried to remodel and had a low budget.  Front desk guy was rude on the phone when I tried to make a reservation (wouldn’t let me reserve it over the phone) but friendly in person. Wouldn’t stay here again. 

Passing through 

The rooms and property were extremely clean. The manager was friendly and helpful. They accommodated my service dog at no additional cost. Rooms were comfortable. The bath towels could have been a little thicker.
