Great place to stay in the area. Affordable, clean, quiet, and warm, friendly staff.  Praise checked us in and out and always had a welcoming vibe.

We stayed for new year's weekend for a chill getaway and to check out homes for sale in the area. The room was simple, comfortable, spacious and clean.  The location was quiet and just off the main street.  Wildwood Inn will be our go-to spot in the area from now on. :)

This is a decent place to use as a base for Skiing in the area. Typically, car chain controls are farther east of here, so thats convenient. There are some decent cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are a bit old, but clean. The highlight of this place was the reception staff (and owner?). She (I think her name is Praise?) was friendly and very helpful. We payed for 2 nights but decided to go home a day early because the road conditions were good enough. She gave us a refund for that day even though we didnt ask! We will be be back here on our next trip.

Good location and great staff

Clean mountain hotel close to the park, golf course, mini golf course, snow cone shack, creek, walking trails and restaurants .  Our 4 years old twins loved it and so did we.  We also enjoyed the hot tub during our stay.

Really nice stay

Wildwood Inn Motor Lodge was more than I expected and it was wonderful to be able to walk to a convenience store and restaurants. I truly was not expecting much from the Wildwood but they really did make my stay a wonderful one. 

I arrived a bit earlier than check in time and they quickly checked to see if my room was ready and passed their COVID safety checks. They graciously allowed me to check in early so I could take a conference call. 

The room was very clean and in much better condition than I expected. It was comfortable and the heater worked great which was well needed in the middle of February. There was plenty of parking and it is super quiet in Twain Harte. 

They do have the vending and ice machines closed due to COVID so hit up the local convenience store if you need ice.

More than I expected

I have stayed at the Willowwood Inn several times with my family. I always enjoy my stay. The rooms have an old time look with lots of wood and mountain kind of decorations not sure how to describe them but I feel the decoration compliments the town of Twain Harte.

It is a very warm property as far as the staff.I feel the price is fair, and the family that owns and operates the property is very prompt to accommodate requests if possible. 

I would recommend this property for families and someone looking for central hotel within walking distance of Twain Harte shops/restaurants.

Great Cozy Economic room with Lots of Charm

This is a very quaint hotel. The rooms are large. The beds are comfortable and spacious. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is unique it’s buffet which you help yourself to then take back to your room. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Big room, comfortable beds, really clean, breakfast included in an amazing cute town lost in the forest. Go to the 3 bears, the italan place and the pub just opposite the inn. My favourite place of my trip in CA! An hotel to go in this area

Great

The Wildwood Inn is fantastic, we were met by Zohaib (the owner) at check-in and the day before. He is a lovely man, very kind and friendly, he gave us lots of information of things to do during our stay. The rooms are well equipped, comfy, very clean and the natural wood furniture is lovely.
Breakfast was very good and the location of the Inn within Twain Harte was perfect. You must try the "crazy" golf just up the road.
We would definately stay here again.

Beautiful place

Hotel is an older motel property, though maintained and clean. Remember this a motel, not a five star property, so go in expecting a motel experience. The employees were pleasant and welcoming for the few moments i interacted with them. My room was clean and the air conditioning worked very well (super super hot outside the day I visited). 

The property is located in the quaint downtown, walking distance to a couple restaurants and bars. 

I will stay here again for sure. The only thing that annoyed me was no carpeting on the floors, which always makes it feel very institutional for me and less home like.

Very Good Stay in a Cute Town

Hotel room was okay. Booked through Expedia, hotel charged our card twice for the night. We tried multiple times to call and have it corrected with no response. 

Had to dispute the charge through the credit card bank. It has been an absolute hassle. 

We would have returned for another stay, but we will never come back. 

Beware.
