Such a wonderful place! Before we ever checked in, Brent and Chris were helpful with suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. After a LONG travel day, we arrived during the daily wine and cheese hour on their beautiful front porch. The other guests, along with Brent and Chris, were chatting about their day, enjoying local wines and cheeses, and our stress of the day went away. We quickly learned that the other 4 couples had stayed at Embrace on multiple occasions, and I see why, and plan to stay there again on our next visit to the Napa Valley. They truly make you feel at home. The breakfast that they serve on the weekends is delicious. You can tell they put so much thought and effort into all of the details. My husband has a dietary restriction and they prepared an alternative plate for him (just as delicious!) We stayed in the Queen bedroom upstairs and enjoyed it-  comfortable bed, and the room stayed nice and cool. Keurig station in the common space of the Inn was perfect for us (we are early risers!) Calistoga was such a quaint town, and the location on the main street was perfect for walking to restaurants, local grocery store, etc. We used the Calistoga shuttle for a few of the local wineries, otherwise, Uber drivers were available. Wonderful stay, we hope to return!

Wonderful hosts!

Embrace is the NUMBER ONE bed and breakfast stay that we’ve ever experienced!  Hosts, Chris and Brent, make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. And talk about their chef skills…unparalleled, many course breakfasts that are scrumptious!  We highly recommend Embrace when visiting the Napa area! We can’t wait to return!

Embrace is the BEST!

We love this Inn/B&B!  This was our second visit and our stay was every bit as fabulous as the first. 

The Inn itself is an 1870s farmhouse-stlye home with wrap around porch; charming and special, and perfectly situated at the end/beginning of Lincoln Ave, the main street of Calistoga. It’s upgraded, very comfortable and immediately relaxing.  And Calistoga is centrally located for exploring several acclaimed northern California wine regions.

But the most special  feature of the stay is the graciousness and friendliness of the hosts, Chris, Brent and Maria, who work to make your visit memorable. Gourmet breakfasts prepared with lots of thought and natural culinary talent. Wine and cheese social hour where you meet other guests and sample various reds and whites from local wineries. You are  even provided care packs of water and snacks each day.

We highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful getaway!

A very relaxing and fun stay with hosts Brent and Chris. The room was very comfortable. The best part of the experience was getting to know Chris and Brent a bit and enjoying their gracious hospitality. The breakfast was a true gourmet delight. Happy hour was fun. They know all about the area and can advise visitors about restaurants, hikes, wine tasting, etc.

Chris & Brent were AWESOME! They made us feel more then welcomed.  The gave us great ideas for dinner spots. Sent us all out with little fun and fabulous snack packs to enjoy on our daily adventures. Five Stars all the way around! We will definitely be a repeat customer next time we make it to Calistoga.

Beautiful Guest House, Beautiful Hosts

The wine in the evening was delicious, cheese tasty,  and company even better. My room is cozy and classic and has a great warm fire with two chairs to sit and enjoy it. The patio is even nicer as you can see the street but are hidden a bit from it. Also a great wrap around feel that is so pretty in the fall. Walking distance to food and shopping.

Embrace Calistoga is a beautifully restored B&B owned & run by Brent & Chris, who are the epitome of attentive hosts. 
Pros:
- The large porch allows for a relaxing setting for the gourmet breakfasts, which change daily, & evening wine & hors d'oeuvres.
- Brent & Chris mingle with the guests on the porch during happy hour, making everyone feel welcome. They are very willing to provide recommendations for restaurants, wineries, things to do & sightseeing.
- The 5 rooms are well appointed, with no rooms having rooms above or below them for an extra layer of privacy.
- Snack packs are provided daily for sustenance while wandering Napa/Sonoma.
- The inn is located in the heart of downtown Calistoga, within easy walking distance to several restaurants, and a short drive to many others in St. Helena.
- The main "pro" is the owners, Brent & Chris, who pay attention to detail & truly enjoy engaging with their guests. Other reviewers have mentioned they were made to feel like friends, rather than customers, & I wholeheartedly agree.
Cons:
- It is difficult to come up with any, & with B&Bs my primary choice for lodging, that says it all.

Exemplary B&B experience!

We were blown away by the experience and hospitality at Embrace.  Thank you to Chris and Brent for making our stay so special.  We will definitely be back.  In the meantime, we will miss the laughs, great wine/cheese selection and the phenomenal breakfast every morning.  Not to mention the gorgeous property, rooms and location overall!

Best-in-class Napa Valley B&B Experience

My wife Kathy and I spent 3 nights at Embrace Calistoga to celebrate her birthday in Napa. We've stayed and many B&Bs all over the country and I can honestly say that our experience at Embrace was by far, the best. From the moment we were welcomed by Chris we felt like one of the family. The amenities are gorgeous, with the highlight being the porch outside. This is a gathering place where guests, Chris and Brent can meet and greet with a glass of wine and a delicious treat. Not to mention, the breakfast each day was a gourmet meal, nothing comes close to what we experienced each morning. The attention to detail and the lengths that Chris and Brent go to so that each guest feels welcome and content is astonishing. They say on their Web page that you arrive as guests and leave as friends, never were words more true than these. Chris and Brent are a special couple and we consider them friends! Thanks to both of you for a very special stay and for making Kathy's birthday something we will always remember. We can't wait to return soon!!!  

This is the place to stay for a trip to Napa

We visited Calistoga for a weekend getaway and were really fortunate to have discovered this charming and amazing B&B for our stay. The owners, Chris and Brent were very welcoming and friendly. The room, upstairs Queen, was very nice and comfortable. The gourmet breakfast in the morning was delicious and very satisfying for starting our day. This is was a perfect place and already looking forward to our next visit.
