Perfectly located! We had dinner downstairs, it was delicious and the staff was super super nice! The room was clean and had everything you need! As mentioned, there is no toilet and shower in the room, which is not a big deal when you know it from the beginning! My room had a little smell, don’t know what it was! I would definitely recommend the hotel!

Perfectly located in the heart of Calistoga!

Enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere for dinning in this age of corvid it still pays to be careful!  If you want a break from the wine of wine country this place has many excellent micro brews to choose from. Their Tillamook Cheeseburger I believe it was and garlic fry's were excellent food to compliment their brews!

Great outdoor dinning

Good location along Main Street. Large outdoor dining area. Nice selection of draft beers. The food was ok, the service not overly attentive. We were promised some bread along with water/drinks. The bread never made it to our table. Shared a starter and a pizza. The pizza carne had a ton of mozzarella and very little of all the other toppings mentioned on the menu. The atmosphere along with live music makes up for the lack of attention to detail.

Convenient

Nice sized pours! Excellent spicy Margarita.  Skirt steak was “muy excelente’   Seafood pasta did not disappoint with large portions is clams , mussels and shrimp  Outside seating is a must. Live lite background music for a classy lively Calistoga evening!

Has it all.  A Must Go.

The restaurant is great, but the Inn deserves danger warnings and that's what I'm providing .  Bizarrely, the inn and restaurant have one owner.

The hotel is a historically protected dump.  Here is a list of what the rooms don't have.

--no TV
--no air conditioning
--no toilet or shower (OK, there are common, shared toilets and showers)
--no reliable internet on the second floor
--no real ADA compliance (OK, that's historic too.  But this is lied about extensively on their website)
--no chair (well, there was an outdoor garden chair parked in my room)
--no shampoo, etc. (for the shared toilets and showers, they bought whatever was cheap at the supermarket).  My wife said that on the women's side, there wasn't even a soap dispenser over the sink--and this in a pandemic
--no extra towels in the shared showers, just a pile of bathmats

Real value?  Let's say, $65 a night.  The price I paid?  about $265 (OK, it was a Saturday).

What's going on here is clear--the owner runs the hotel as a racket alongside the restaurant, which makes, and deserves to make, the real money.  The website is extraordinarily misleading.  The two sides are so disconnected that you can't even run a room tab in the restaurant.  The owner has no interest in finding creative touches that would make the hotel amusing or livable, much less tying the two sides of the business together.  Stay somewhere else, come for the food.

Restaurant good--avoid an overnight stay at all costs

My first time staying at the Calistoga Inn and I was extremely impressed with the property and attention to details. If you are used to staying at large corporate hotels (Hilton, Marriott) this hotel is kind of the opposite of that but in the best way possible. (Metal keys, no TV) This hotel has an amazing charm and feel. You instantly are transported into the vibe of the small town and feel like a local. The rooms are very well kept and clean. The bathrooms down the hall must be cleaned around the clock, each time I used them they were freshly cleaned. The restaurant and bar is right downstairs and have an awesome outdoor patio with great food. My girlfriend had the paella and it was delicious. I had the pork chop and it was equally good.

You cannot beat the convenience and charm of this small inn. Especially post covid times, support small and local. You will not be disappointed.

Great location, charming ‘old school’ lodging

We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. This is a charming restaurant right in town. Service is professional, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and portions are generous. My salad was crisp and fresh & my companion's burger was awesome. Garlic fries are really good. Very nice place for lunch while visiting Calistoga.

Very Good!

Arrived at the Inn, to find no parking on site. Had to find parking half a block away & lug our suitcases to the inn. Checked in to be told the wifi doesn’t work too well in the rooms, so if important come downstairs to use it. We got to our room to find it very hot and stuffy.  We knew there was no air conditioning, but hoped the  ceiling fan could cool It down, but it was ineffective.  Opened the window and it overlooked the loud brewery outside dining area below.  There was also an industrial exhaust fan on the roof outside our room making noise. The rooms was very small and basic with a bathroom down the hall, in the women’s bathroom there was no liquid soap at the basin. Very basic amenities and yet the charge is  $229 plus tax for the night!  Extremely overpriced.  When I enquired about the possibility of another room that may not be as hot or loud, or if the fan perhaps was not working properly, management didn’t care, and said the fan only goes at one speed and all the rooms are hot. We had to sleep in our room with the hall door open & window open to try and get the hot air to dissipate, loud music coming from downstairs, traffic noise and the sound of an exhaust fan until way past 11.30pm. We were in room 17, so don’t stay in that room if you value your sleep.  Please don’t charge hotel rates I’d you are not prepared to provide hotel service.  I’m sure there is better value elsewhere in Calistoga. Disappointing experience and will not be recommending this inn at all.

Emblematic and quiet hotel north of Napa, in the center of the village, approximately 20 comfortable rooms with shared bathrooms, very clean, good service by the staff.Cold continental breakfast included, you can enjoy different beers made in the same hotel.
Good experience.
